The business end of the Premiership season is truly upon us now, as Celtic travel across Lanarkshire to take on 9th placed Motherwell, this weekend.

As a venue, Fir Park is one that the Bhoys have enjoyed consistent success over the past few seasons, having won on each of the last 8 visits since 2019, and they will be looking forward to the opportunity of getting back on track, while being aware they cannot afford any more slip ups.

Last week's 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock saw more points dropped, which means for the first...

The Hoops return to League duty this weekend, when they face the tough task of hosting 4th placed Kilmarnock on Saturday.

As the Premiership race tightens even more - Celtic's lead at the top is now razor thin - ahead by virtue of more goals scored at this point, leaving precious little wriggle room for anything less than a win in every game from here on in.

To add to that pressure, they are hosting a team that has already twice defeated Brenda Rodgers side this season and have consistently proved this season to be one...

The Hoops' Scottish Cup defence is on the line this weekend, when they make the short trip to Paisley for this 5th Round match against St Mirren.

Celtic fans let out a rather telling sigh of relief in midweek when the side somewhat fortunately emerged victorious from Easter Road for the first time in 5 attempts under Brendan Rodgers.

But it was far from a convincing, with the result ultimately determined by two penalties from Adam Idah. Other than those 2 spotkicks however, the Bhoys could only muster the grand...

December: Alistair Johnston in action during the 4-1 victory when these sides last met

The Hoops are once again on the road as they travel through to the Capital on Wednesday, to take on Hibernian at Easter Road.

Criticism of the manager and the club's executives continued after the team dropped more points at the weekend, in the 1-1 draw against Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

The Celts failed to capitalize after dominating in the first half, only to be caught out after the break with the Bhoys going behind. Fortunately debutante Nicolas Kuhn's deflected effort was enough to secure a...

Celtic head to the north-east this weekend, seeking to extend the lead at the summit of the Premiership table with a 6th straight win, when they go up against 8th placed Aberdeen in Saturday's lunchtime kick off.

The Bhoys appear to have shaken off some of the wobbles that troubled them towards the tail end of 2023, and are coming into this game on the back of five straight league wins, although they were far from convincing in the 1-0 victory over Ross County, last weekend.

The Hoops have...
