    From Fox sports

Right-back Josip Juranovic poured on the praise.

“For me he is little Messi!” said the Croatian international. “He’s a bit taller than the original but there’s only one big Messi, he can be the little one! He’s so good. He’s one of the best players I have played with at club level. He’s in top form this season and that can only be good for us.

“We see it in training but I always make sure he’s in my team. He knows how to pick the sides. You look at his technique. He’s so tall but it’s unbelievable. He’s the main man for us. I didn’t know too much about him before I came here. I knew he’d been here a long time but I was wondering why because he was so good. He enjoys it here and he’s a legend.”

Defo could've picked a better choice of words :giggle1:

Rogic is basically an unknown quantity still outside of Scotland. But he's a lanky genius * who defies logic at times. Can you imagine him in La Liga instead of Scotland where he gets booted about on * tiny pitches by cloggers at 100mph?

SEVERAL months ago he told Callum McGregor he was Celtic’s Luka Modric.

And now a grateful — and very generous — Josip Juranovic has hailed the Hoops’ matchwinner Tom Rogic as Parkhead’s LIONEL MESSI.

The Croat ace delivered yet another polished performance in the victory over Motherwell.

But it was Rogic who pounced deep into first-half injury time with a sizzling strike, to settle an often tense game for the Hoops.

Celts laboured badly to put away Well who, right until the end, lived in hope of a set-piece opportunity or a defensive blunder to capitalise on.

Chance after chance was passed up — including, it must be said, a second-half sitter from Rogic.

But by the end it was the Aussie’s emphatic left-foot finish which settled matters.

On his gifted team-mate, Juranovic said: “For me Tom is little Messi!

“He’s a bit taller than the original but there’s only one big Messi, he can be the little one!

“He’s so good. He’s one of the best players I have played with at club level.

“Tom’s in top form this season and that can only be good for us.

We see it in training, but I always make sure he’s in MY team. He knows how to pick the sides.

“You look at his technique. He’s so tall but it’s unbelievable. Tom is the main man for us.

“I didn’t know too much about him before I came here.

“I knew he’d been here a long time, but I was wondering why because he was so good.

“He enjoys it here and he’s a legend at Celtic.”

Should have had a hat trick yesterday, took his goal well and played well overall but missed two great chances and had a couple of other half ones.

I had hoped that having his old national team boss as Celtic's manager would help but wow I did not expect what we have seen so far this season with you have to say Rogic in absolutely top form and just running the show in some of our games.

Delighted for him the season he is having

What a player we would have if he had the lungs to stop vading after 50 mins

Beautiful, beautiful man with another master piece moment by standing that ball up for Ralston at the back post, without Rogic the league would already be over

Honestly I thought he was giving the ball away constantly but came up trumps in the end.
