Plenty others have managed to play well at Ibrox on their debut against much better huns teams as well.
As I say, one game aside, this guy has looked like he’s never played professional football before.

 

Main thing is though he's been played out of position, never a wide player.

I actually thought Rodgers only put him on for Tounetki at the weekend to sabotage our own team.

He's a midfielder for me and thats where he was playing before we signed him.

 

That’s all fair enough but the initial point was he’s not going to improve his chances by disrespecting his previous manager on instagram.

 

The truth is somewhere between both arguments here I think. He hasn't performed well since he arrived but equally, very few, if any have.

With Brendan gone, balikwisha gets another chance, as will others.

If he doesn't take it between now and Christmas, then yeah, it looks like more wasted money!

I'm all for fair play. Give Balikwisha starts in midfield, and then we can run the rule over him properly.
Drop Hatate who is like a spare * at a wedding anyway, and play Balikwisha at No.10.

 

He didn't do a whole lot again but the more I'm understanding what he actually is as a player, the more I like him

 

Even this * looks better under MON what is going on..... Done well when he came on I thought, seemed a lot more relaxed

 

He's never gonna go by a man despite looking like he has the pace to do it, it's clearly not his game.

Very much a pass and move into space type of player, looks good on the ball and presses well.

 

Good to see MON has obviously told him to ditch the gloves

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that a lot of players seem to struggle under Rodgers. Hopefully he shows what he’s all about.

 

For me I would like to see him come on for Nygren in a game and play that sort of second striker role he played last night for large parts.

Much more central as Balikwisha isn’t going to dribble by someone but he can get himself half a yard and play intelligent passes or get a shot off.

 

Play him right back if he's quick and gets back like that

Looked a bit better but I think we should still temper our expectations. Time will tell.

 

Said this to my old man I think now we're now going to see if Engels is a player or not. Same with Balikwisha and a few others.

 

Missed this. Must think he's Jules Winnfield. Not the worst name for a footballer I guess.

Hopefully goes old testament on the Huns this weekend.
