Same really im not interested in these games, you can't really be arsed with them until knowing we're playing better.

Theres something really dull and * about the Europa League, the games get played more like friendlies than real games I think that just adds a cloud over it, it's pure pish to watch.

Our weakness at dealing with corners cost us full points but, on the plus side, Donovan, CCV and Scales were excellent. Iheanacho made a difference and needs a run in the team now.

Have to agree, didn't put a foot wrong and shades of Tierney's route to the first team when he had to cover Izaguirre.

Really need to find more opportunities for these lads.

We ain't winning anything in this competition. This team seem so disinterested and no one wants to jump up the ball and physical. It's so uninspiring and sad to watch.

Watch when the ball pops up in the air and you have 4 celtic players looking at it and never winning the ball.

Glad to get a point away.
I thought we were better in the second than the first half and would probably have settled for nothing each at half time. When we scored I thought we could have gone on for more and was let down by our defense at the set piece. Terrible. A real cutting edge up front is obviously missing.
Hopefully we sharpen up at the front and work on tightening the defense, too many players are watching the opposition and have no idea where the ball is.
I'm a bit negative because we could easily have won that. Still, a point away is decent.

I think we will just have to accept that our football is going to be a hard watch up until January when surely by * we will get a few new faces in and get rid of the guys who clearly don't want to be here

I'd have taken a point at the start...

Disappointed with not winning but result probably fair for both teams.

As usual we leave something on the table that didn’t need leaving.

Had that game won if we had just kept the head and played with the same calmness we did at 0-0 and 1-1.

Really concerning how this team deals with trying to defend a lead. They look a total bag of nerves.

It’s a good point. But I really wish we would be more solid when in front

Good point in the end, but frustrating we didn't take all three given our improvement and clear cut chances in the second half. If we had started with Iheanacho, Balikwisha and Engels, we win that game. I can see Engels wanting a transfer soon, if Hatate and Nygren continue to keep him out of the team. We are horrendous at taking set pieces and defending them. Someone tell me what does our elite defensive coach John Kennedy get paid for ?

Decent point in the end. Rodger's really needs to try something different on the right wing though.

Either try Maeda/Tounekti out there or maybe even give Hatate/Engels a go as a wide midfielder because Yang/Forrest just isn't working.

Although thought Yang put in a decent enough shift defensively tonight tbf.

Think we need to accept that so long as we keep improving bit by bit, just maybe things will click together around December and January. Which normally I feel is a time of year where we sometimes struggle. Then get Jota back. Sell Maeda, buy a new striker, then fly through to the end of the season. Anyway we can all live in hope.

We’ve quite literally not even lost a single game yet this season (barring a penalty shoot out) :39:

Surely a few things are clear as * after that: Maeda cannot start up front, maybe needs a little spell on the bench; Yang is never, ever good enough to start; and Reo also needs a rest - just start Bernardo or Engels at the weekend and see how they get on. Would like to see Tounetki or Balik being tried on the right side - doubt it’ll happen though.

Not to say I told you so but Donovan deserved the start tonight and needed an opportunity to show he is capable of making the step up. He done exactly that. Hopefully he can kick on from here and be our future RB when AJ moves on.

    No problem.

I had my doubts as it was a gamble but he came through that test and all the more power to him for it.

Much does Celtic earn from that tonight?

My thoughts pretty much exactly. In the end the 1-1 was a fair result. From our standpoint thats a decent away performance in Europe particularly from an overall defensive performance. Another very decent showing from young Donovan as well but all the back 4 were good defensively. Midfield lacked creatively for most of the game and until Iheanacho came on we struggled to keep the ball at all in the final third. Attacking wise the big positive was just how well Iheanacho played when he came on and there is no way he is fully up to speed. So if he can get his legs and match sharpness up to playing a full or close to full game over the next few weeks then I may well turn out to be very wrong and he could indeed prove to be a good signing but time will tell on that one. For now though he was key to us being so much more dangerous in the second half so all credit to him tonight.

A very mixed performance both collectively, and from a lot of individuals.

Missed a few golden opportunities but so did they.

Ultimately I’d have taken the point before it, but I feel a bit empty in the same way I did after Dinamo Zagreb.

They were there for the taking.

A decent point from a tough away match in Europe, I'll take that. Most folk didn't see us getting anything but beat previous to kickoff. A good points haul from our next 3 against Braga, Sturm Graz and Midjtiland and we can be in a right good position going into the latter stages.
