Lacks the pace to play out wide, and always feel he plays for himself before the team. Had high hopes when he arrived but just don’t see it now. Can’t see him bursting a gut chasing back or rolling the sleeves up when we need some graft. If we are looking to step up a level he’s not going to be part of that.

Celtic outcast Luis Palma has returned to his first club in Honduras to do his own pre-season training in a bid to kickstart his Hoops career.

The 25-year-old will be back at Parkhead for the new season after an unsuccessful loan spell in Greece with Olympiacos, where he made just three league starts.

He's been granted extra time off after playing for Honduras in the Gold Cup over the summer, where he was used mostly as a sub.

But he's taken matters into his own hands to get himself prepared for his return to Glasgow after training with his first club in Honduras, Vida.

And Vida boss Raul Musuruana was impressed at Palma's efforts during his training sessions

Luis Palma was welcomed warmly by the rest of the squad and it was great to see him at our training session.

He is of course a top player and a hero to many in Honduras.

Remember when he came to the club was pretty decent scored some cracking goals aye he's not got pace but can still maybe do a job if we don't sell him or get some skilled attackers in.

Could he play off the central striker i think he could

I don't see why we should be so rigid with our formation, it's good to be able to chNge it up and confuse other teams

Don't want him back, but hope he finds a new club and does well there.

He looked like an inspired signing, alongside Kyogo and Matt O’Riley he was one of the few players we had that looked like doing something in CL games.

I think he is an ultimate confidence player and coming in and getting the goal on debut and a few strikes early doors I thought we had won a watch. He then fell of a cliff and has just continued to go down. I think we should have sold him last summer whilst he still had some stock.

Ive always liked him and think he'll have a good career. However it just hasn't worked for us so far, outside his first half of 23/24, and it feels like the ship has sailed.

We could probably get £6-9m for him, Yang and Tilio. Take it and put it into a player for the starting XI. Then get another 2 in.

I am hoping an MLS team takes a fancy to him he seems the type that could have a good show reel that would maybe get one of those teams to stump up some cash for him.

One of those teams not pay €3m recently for Urhoghide? Another deal we probably made a few bob out of after selling him to Amiens on the cheap.

Aye MLS is where I see him. He's a hero in his nation and closer to home.

If we could get £3m you'd take it. Same for Yang. Whatever for Tilio.

I would think closer to half of that tbh.

Palma maybe £2m. Yang and Tilio be doing well to get £2m between them.

I've always liked him there is definitely something there but his time has come and gone here. Would still rather see him over Yang or Tillio though

Nah as much as I don't want Yang I doubt we sell for any less than £3m. Especially given the level of supposed interest.

He’ll end up in LA if it’s a move to America

Zaha hasn't exactly worked out so far, but Palma could work better centrally I feel. Biel has been solid though.
