Yeah was staying on the outskirts in Kissimmee. Lizards all over the place lol

Had hawks flying very low in the morning aswell and the occasional possum and alligator. Definitely made a change from cats and dogs here haha

A few from a very quiet Colgagh, i was there for a few hours on Saturday morning and only for a pair of little Grebes and a pair of Moorhens nesting nearby there was next to no birdlife on the loch, i'm sure it will pick up as the weeks go on and there'll be a few more species to see.

My family and I went to Helensburgh for the day yestrday. great day, but there wasn't much happening as far as wildlife was concerned. Highlight of the day was a 1st year Great Black Back Gull. Absolutely massive. We went a wee walk along the waterfront and saw a RSPA guy looking down into the rocks on the beach. I asked what was wrong. He told me someone had reported a Gull had fallen into the cracks in the rocks and he was trying to get it out. He said he'd been there for about an hour. We asked if he needed any help but just then he managed to catch the Gull by it's neck and pull it up. The Gull was covered in blood all down it's front, but after a couple of minutes, it flew away. The RSPA guy did well.

My family and I had a great day out yesterday in Millport. A wee drive to Largs, a short trip over the water and you're there. I'm not good on water but looking for wildlife occupies my mind. Yesterday was no different. We saw 2 Gannets( My favourite Sea bird) on the way over. While we were in Millport, we saw many Rooks, Jackdaws, Carrion Crows, Lesser Black back and Herring Gulls. But the star of the day was my first EVER Great Northern Diver. We were walking along the beach, looking for birdlife when Caroline saw it. Excitedly, she passed her bins over for confirmation. She's seen one before but it was my first.
We went for something to eat. We were sitting in a small courtyard. There was all sorts of Gull activity, but we looked up to see 2 Kittiwakes standing on a block up chimney. Even better was to follow when we realised they were guarding a nest. We saw 2 very small heads popping up over the nest, making sure their parents were there.
It was a sensational day. Caroline even filmed a Hermit Crab in the water. She says she'll send it to me so I can show all you guys.
