Yeah, I'd had it in my head he'd come for about £2.5M but seems that's probably a rumour pricetag, because it looks undisclosed now.

£15M plus a 15-20% sell-on clause would work fine for me. Especially if he's keen on the move. He's probably not as settled since Kayal moved on. Good transition for both parties.

 

Just cause he'd turned down a contract doesnt mean he definitely wants to move. His agent will be telling him to hold out for a better contract. If its a long term deal he's being offered (which I imagine it will be) then say its a four year deal hypothetically.....then he's going to be asking for the same wages now as he would be getting in 4 year's time. He's no going to take a small increase in wages that will see him stuck on that wage for 4 year, when within that 4 year he could take the league by storm and turn into our best player who then should be getting paid megabucks. Thats not being unreasonable, thats just how player's contracts work.

The Hoops winger will play no part in his country’s Euro 2024 qualifiers against Kosovo and Switzerland due to a quad problem.


Israeli reports claim he could be out for at least a fortnight - with Celtic due to play Rangers in a Parkhead title crunch on April 8.

Boss Alon Hazan said: “To Liel’s credit, it should be said that he did everything to be fit.

“But unfortunately he arrived injured and it’s not possible.

“It is a minor injury but it would still limit him from playing.


He did not agree to give up the possibility of being available and has tried everything, but it hasn’t worked.”

Abada’s absence would be a blow for Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou, with James Forrest already injured.

What is it with our players getting injured in international friendlies man * joke. 3 wingers potentially now injured for the run in. Pass back Forrest will be getting game now

 

* if Forrest is playing against the Huns again, it will be a man down.

Hes out for a while so I doubt it

 

Mental to think we could potentially be without Abada, Maeda, Haksa and Hatate for the huns game.

 

Haska was jumping about celebrating at the end of the Montenego game so if he's injured it's not that serious Maeda should have never went because I reckon he's still * from that Hearts tackle. Forrest is * anaw

 

It's not mental at all. We will be up * creek if they are all missing.

 

This is what does my nut in. Why do we not just tell these * "sorry, but he is not fit and we cannot release him". Sending unfit players globetrotting when they should be receiving top class treatment, we have always been way too soft down through the years on this.
And players should be told when they sign, that they will only be released for internationals if fully fit.
