Ok it was a soft penalty but Starfelt still was stupid to dive in, gave that * the opportunity to give it.

 

Yeah Juranovic allowed Sakala to make the run, same as he allowed him to make the pass to Kent for the goal. Juranovic was awful today and made Sakala look world class when reality is he is a headless chicken.

 

I too will hold my hands up if it looks different when I see it but in the pub today for me starfelt slides in and so puts himself out of control. Sakala for me doesn't mean to stand on him so both of them unintentionally initiated contact, which as unlucky as it is, means penalty to those *.

Your man Paul sums it up here, there's cheating occurring against us but the non-handball much more so than the actual penalty.

As usual against a better standard of team we wanted too much time on the ball. Too much tippy-tappy stuff in midfield too. The hun meeja will be desperate to tell how amazing sevco were no doubt but they weren't and I'm genuinely not saying that out of resentment or to belittle them, as I said to my Da at full-time we've had harder games there against sevco under Murty and Caixinha. Whatever, the facts are we are 9 points clear with a much better goal-difference and have only played 9 home games to 11 away. I'll take that.

 

Might be wrong but are we not 15 points ahead of where we were this point last year?

I genuinely wouldn't be screaming for a penalty but if we got it I'd be happy to take it while thinking it wasn't a penalty.

 

10 points better off after 20 games compared to last season. Huns are 5 points worse off, so yeah 15 kind of.

 

Fair play mate, I think Starfelt was unlucky but still committed a foul. Just glad it didn't cost us any points at the end of the day

not brilliant defending but it happens. IMO it doesn’t get the referees off the hook for a poor decision

 

Agree with GG but pressing would be a minimum expectation in an Ange team. I seen someone saying Kyogo didnt get the service, but Maeda did put in a couple of balls, as did Hatate. One of Maedas was crying for a tap in. If he is out muscled from the game, then theres no excuse for him not be in the right positions.
He redeemed himself with his composure in the end but a player of his ability has to impose himself in big games.

 

Juranovic has form for lapses in concentration and being caught out positionally.
