Michael Stewart hammering the officials on Sportscene over the penalty - good stuff.

Put one * of a shift in today. For a guy who seems quite laid back off the pitch he is so passionate on it.

Last season the mantra was "We never stop", this season it's turning into "Can't stop us"

Can't believe they didn't look at the push in the box on Ralston though.

Slow going until they scored then we upped a few gears and went through them with ease. Hatate was * brilliant, his quick feet in that 2nd half created majority of our chances and loved seeing him get stuck in.

Once again having to beat 11 men, a ref and VAR. * the orange *.

HAHA! The short answer is I don't know.

The closest I can think of off the top of my head was the last of WGS 3IAR in mid-April 2008, when we were trailing R****** by 7 points and they also had a game in hand, and yet we were able to claw that back and win the title. Because of how late it was in the season it stands out for obvious reasons, with Robson and Hartley absolutely bossing it in MF at the time, McGeady & Naka providing the ammo, while McDonald & JVOH were kicking * up top.

Getting Robson & Hartley is how you do January right.

    Happy days! :62:

Of course, the following season we blew a 7 point lead after the Hoops won 1-0 at Ipox at Xmas, but then Lawwell & the stingy board wouldn't allow WGS to sign anyone in January (eventually on the last day of January we got Willo Flood in, woohoo! oh joy! such wonderful memories :87: ), so we missed out on the likes of Fletcher from Hibs etc, and then JVOH & Samaras went on a collosal goal drought of like 1 goal between them for like 3 months, which meant if McDonald didn't score we were struggling, and eventually they overtook us in the last couple of games of the season.

    At Xmas P20 W16 D2 L2. From that game on - P18 W7 D8 L3... it just killed us.

Had the Board backed WGS that January, we very likely would've gone on to win that league title, it's likely WGS wouldn't have left, still been holding our own in the Champions League (and then some) and we wouldn't have had that disaster Mowbray season that followed. But just as importantly, had we won the 2008/09 League, it possibly would've triggered the meltdown at Ipox to happen so much sooner, as they were already on borrowed time because the bank was finally refusing Minty Moonbeams endless blank cheques and the only thing that kept them afloat was that 3IAR they did.

Now we have a masonic VAR along with the ref,Jock would have ripped these * apart.

deidco were 12 ahead in November 2011….

They utterly collapsed and by January we were 7 ahead I think. We won the league by 20 points - although the durties were docked 10 for going into admin…

A 22 point swing . They like to pretend it was admin that lost them the league… but that was February 2012 and the league was done by then…. although there must have been internal discontent that had some impact…

can’t see us slipping 9 points in second half of season.

Was working the day so only managed to watch first half and upto the penalty during ma break and * me I can't remember seeing such a woeful refereeing display. How the actual * do the refs in this country get away with that? How the actual * is that muppet deemed good enough to ref a top flight match in the country?
    * must a staunch member of some * lodge somewhere. * ridiculous.

It was such a vital 3 points today, imperative we punish the uglies whenever they drop points, can only see the gap getting bigger tbh.

No logos/scores in the top corners - anyone know where this footage comes from?

Love those Unique Angles (see above). Jota putting the ball back down the pitch after Turnbull's goal. Brilliant, just sums up this squad. This league will be won by double figures.

Still no idea what the penalty was given for. Last couple of performances have been a bit nervy and disjointed. Can only think even the players realise the significance of getting such a big lead at this time of the season. Brilliantly taken goals from us.

    Bless.

If * want to honour the Brit military machine they can go to a service on the 11th or today and keep their pish out of Celtic Park.

Quite often teams at CP get given the decisions as the ref wants to give them as much chance as possible and feels sorry for them a bit. VAR has made it they get every decision going. Gonna be a slog at home for a lot of the games left I feel.
