Was gonna say, he's surprisingly quick when he gets going.

Not Juranovic/Jota levels of speed, but still pretty decent.

I know people are saying start Kyogo tomorrow cause of his movement but I think the big man’s earned the start against these. Was great against the Huns and is a handful for defenders. His presence and hold up play I think could be vital

Giakoumakis has been holding up, he's been harassing the defence, giving Militao a real headache, forcing mistakes and giving away throw-in etc. The fact that Rutiger is coming on as ha half time replacement for Militao speaks volumes for how well GG did in that first half.

Yup. Not even close between him and Kyogo as to who starts these games, for me - and I love Kyogo as much as the next guy.

Some effort. Gave everything, held the ball up, proper roughed them up. He starts the next European game for me.

Tonight is why for me, he starts in Europe.

I wonder if he realised he was away from Militao for that first chance he laid off to Abada.

Love the big man as much, if nor more, than the lot of yous. But as much as he put a shift in, thought a few times his reactions were not as sharp as I'd have liked. Just that wee bit of sharpness of thought he's missing, as probably all of our players have tbh. That's the difference I suppose.

    Still adore the big *.

Tonight showed why he should lead the line in Europe, he was unreal. Worked his socks off, hold up play was * unreal.

I feel the same about him tonight as I did on Saturday.

He has to start v the Huns and in Europe, even if Kyogo is fit.

    Thought he was excellent tonight.

Bullies defences, amazing work rate, better technique than given credit for.

He absolutely worked himself into the ground, and when he got too tired and was reactive pressing rather than proactive, our full team took a downturn with it. Maybe because O’Riley was also similar with that as well.

No blame on any, the press and concentration they had to do it anticipating them, and as a team, there’s only so long you can keep that up.

Thought he was excellent. Even he found an extra gear pressing last night. Love seeing that from him.

I don’t think he is “turning into some player” he was always some player. Even in his early days you could see he is a great player.
