He was a key player for how we played yesterday, he occupies the centre backs so well and that allows space in the channels and between their defence & midfield.

Loves to get stuck in as well and their team of shitebags hate anyone that can give it back.

He did exactly the same in the 3-0 game last season, dragged 2 of their defenders out of position leaving Abada in acres of space to score. They know they can't leave him alone and double up on him, but that leaves space for our wingers and midfielders.

Not a massive issue, except it would be good to know how to respectfully refer to the man, but can anyone catagorically confirm the spelling of Giakoumakis' first name?

Have seen it spelt as Georgios, Giorgios and Giorgos... So which is it?

It's differed from news outlet to news outlet, from sites like transfermarkt and even Celtic's own website has various spellings - they've used both Georgios as well as Giorgos on his profile page.

What chance anyone has, if the club's own official website can't get it right, and you'd think they'd be able to find this sort of thing out to clarify, lol. Just one of those things that bugs me, lol.

 

His Instagram bio has Giorgos, so I’m assuming that’s the correct spelling.
