I've actually been inspired by this thread and look for photo opportunities of our wee beastie pals. Got loads but nothing that compares with the quality of pictures I see on here.

Said it before and will say it again, the best thread on here.

Ps..cracking picture of the moon tonight all the same.

 

Corals are spawning tonight due to the effects of the full moon. Once my lights go out I’m going to observe under the red light spectrum. It’s the best way to observe this kind of behaviour. Nature never ceases to amaze

Clarity is nice just a shame it's so dark must be a filter built into the phone, if you wanted to you could brighten it up in photoshop or GIMP, but still a good pic

 

Taylor mate, that's exactly where I've seen them, also heading towards Dalmarnock, where I stay. Great sighting when you do see one. Makes your day

I’d have been up all night watching that!!

for some reason I can’t upload photos just now, but my cichlids have been breeding regularly and the mixed community tank is buzzing just now with fully mature adults down to fresh free swimmers just released from their mothers mouth.

 

My nesting Blackbird loves the Birdbath.

A few from midweek, there's been a thick heavy fog on the loch these last few days which isn't the best for wildlife photography, it slowly burns off as the sun rises but by that time my belly is rumbling for breakfast, so i didn't manage to get too much, but the one saviour is i got to see the Kingfisher again, he didn't stay for long but i managed to get a couple of pics before he flew off.

 

I have not drawn a picture in many a year Johnie but your Sensational Kingfisher Photos is tempting me Big Time to draw again, if and when I do I will post the result in here

 

Get your pencils out Pete, i'd love to see your interpritation, i got a great view of him this morning, he even hung around and done a bit of fishing, i'll post pics when i have them sorted.
