We are in a fantastic position for the 19th July and I reckon there could still be another 1 or 2 to come in. It will most likely hinge on departures but once the season begins and players like Ajeti aren’t making match day squads, that movement will start to happen.

We are absolutely in a good position to start the domestic campaign.

What I have said is spending an 5 - 6m on a player for 5 or 6 games and changing our style will make * all difference anyway as 1 player ain't gonna make * all difference given the level of teams we will come up against particularly not 1 in our price range. Personally I don't think a £50m CDM will make much difference so I don't see the point in dwelling on it.

For me the champions league is a corrupt league which has been ruined by the greed of the big 5 leagues. Every year you could pick ur last 16 and last 8 in August and be 90% spot on.
It's good for the money that we get but that's about it as far as I'm concerned. I'd far rather watch competitive games in europa league than watch us be ripped apart by some supped up nothing club fueled by Saudi or quatari money with a team that has been assembled for half a billion quid
