At least we won't be saddled with him much longer then.

If he does stay, I could see him being a nuisance. His comments near the end of last season suggested he felt like he should be starting, when the reality was that he was absolutely miles away from his best. He will clearly still feel he should be playing regularly, but from what I’ve seen, he still looks nowhere near ready. The best thing is to get him out the door as soon as possible.

Agree with your general point but I thought his body language was blatantly very poor when he came on yesterday. I don’t think you need to be a psychologist to work it out.

See someone on twitter claimed Trabonzspor had bid for him and expect us to respond tomorrow.

Christopher Jullien is reportedly of interest to Trabzonspor.

The centre-back was all set for a move to Schalke earlier this summer before the deal collapsed the 11th hour.

He still looks likely to leave Glasgow and Sporx report the Turkish side have him on a list of potential targets

Regardless of whether you believe he has the ability or not there is an arguement to say we chucked him. Anyhow, his time certainly appears to be up. Turkey, Germany or where ever it may be, time to go

Ah the ever whitty reply from officer doofy!

The situation in facts is this - He injured himself badly playing for our colours. During his absence, we replaced a manager and signed another CB. He comes back and we haven't got space for him. He has gone from number 1 CB to unneeded, binned, chucked, we move on. What part of that are you disagreeing with exactly!?

He came back from his injury and he isn't good enough to dislodge either of our centre backs. We progressed as a team, he regressed as a player.

That's football, unfortunately. He isn't being "chucked". We're still paying his wages and if he wants to, he can stay here until his contract expires, collecting his wage.

If he's desperate to stay and fight for his place, he can knuckle down and do that.

Been here many times before with you officer doofy. In fact it's rare I really agree with you and I cannot be bothered debating this for hours/days. It's not only tiring but actually boring and I got things to do.

Easier way out here is to suggest it's down to interpretation of the word "chucked". In the interest of an unbiased and fair interpretation I have given definition of the word "chucked" below, taken from Google.
    1. 1.
      throw (something) carelessly or casually.
"someone chucked a brick through the window
Granted we didn't carelessly throw Julien away but it's fair to say it had been fairly casual about it. We had Starfelt in place and never give Julien match time again. It's certainly cannot be said that we give him match sharpness to prove his ability or capacity to make the position his again.

Hence my interpretation is - there is an arguement to say we chucked him.

I know what chucking something is.

People were suggesting giving Jullien game time last season. Why? Starfelt and CCV had a fantastic partnership and the number of goals we conceded, domestically, last season was one of the lowest in a while. Why would you break that partnership up to give someone who hasn't kicked a ball in 12 months time to get up to match sharpness? It could easily have cost us points and the league. In fact the one time he did play was against Raith Rovers and he looked like he was towing a caravan.

The manager and coaches see Jullien train every day. They obviously don't think he's good enough to play in this team. It's unfortunate for Jullien but that's football.

    We've improved and he's declined.

But all of the above wasn't the original point you disagreed with? You have quite literally created a whole load of new points to debate there :56:

The original point I raised is there is an arguement to say we chucked him as opposed to him chucking us.

In fact, if I was to try and find any relevance to the the original pount to your last post, you seem to just be explaining why we chucked him.

    What are you on about?

You said there's an argument that we chucked him - suggesting he's been unfairly treated. He hasn't. He came back from an injury and wasn't as good as the other centre backs. What is Ange to do? Drop better players to give Jullien some game time?

It's best for both parties to move on.

So in the interest of securing the title, we chucked him for Starfelt.....

And didn't say unfairly either by the way. You got a little creative there
