Bit of a tangent, but what's the story with Benkovic these days? Is he broken, or just away bench warming?

Got a free transfer to udinese in January but hasn't played, just bench warmer. Only played 11 games since leaving us. He won 3 league titles, his career has taken a massive nosedive.

Absolutely on fire again, though his goal was onside yesterday

What a * shame! He would've been a great fit for us if he'd just stuck around and wanted the move... Ah well! What can you do? You can lead the horse to water, but if it decides to drown itself you just have to accept that...

    Yeah it looked definitely onside.

Didn’t get many replays to confirm though, compared to the amount of replays of decisions that went in our favour.

I've not enjoyed watching a Celtic player in as long as I can remember, probably back to when Paddy Roberts was going through that sensational wee spell and before that Paddy McCourt. Just something about wingers on song that looks so good in the hoops. Helps that he's sexy as *.

Desperate to see him sign permanently. I reckon it'll happen.

Bar a big champions league coming out of nowhere I'm confident it'll happen.

Will be worth a fortune putting in good European performances next season.

Another Celt has come up trumps in the cinch Premiership Player of the Month award for April with none other than Jota following hot on the heels of Giorgos Giakoumakis who picked up the award for March.

The Portuguese winger was a star performer throughout the month for Ange Postegoclou’s side in their relentless drive towards a title which became increasingly within grasp over the course of April, and now there are just two games to go – tonight (Wednesday) against Dundee United at Tannadice and against Motherwell at home on Saturday…

And if Jota produces anything like his form in his award-wining month, then we are in for a treat.

It started with a 2-1 win over Rangers at Ibrox, followed by a resounding 7-0 beating of St Johnstone (a game in which Matt O'Riley won the cinch Goal of the Month) and he finished off the month by netting a late goal in the 2-0 away win at Ross County to kick-off Celtic’s post match quintet of games with a bang.

Jota said: “I am delighted and really humbled to win this award after a great month for the team with some top results and performances. I have just been one part of this success.

‘Everyone at the club has been fantastic working together closely as a family to try and achieve what we want and with our fans right behind us we are nearly there.’

“We have two big games to go and we want to give these the same energy and quality as we have all season...thank you so much to everyone who has supported us.”

No surprise but the difference when Forrest came off and Jota went on was frightening..

    Unreal for that solo effort..

Do think he could've squared the second one looked like 2 player's in the 6 yard box but no watched the replays..

He was all about putting on a show for our travelling support tonight - he was enjoying himself on that pitch. Couple of ridiculous bits of skill especially the nutmeg that he nearly scored from! :35:

Yeah he was right up for it tonight. Unreal cameo.

Expecting a similar performance from the start against Motherwell, he’s going to rip them to shreds.

    Get the contract signed lad.

Brilliant player and such a likeable personality.

Really looking forward to seeing how he does in the CL for us next season.

He’s had a few shockers as well tbf :56:

but that save was unreal, and if it went in it’s easily goal of the year (after the awards has been dished out)
