    I was talking about Rogic.

Im going by tge stats that have been getting floated about that Ive seen time and time again. Shows jota and abada as top assisters and rogic next.

Looks like Rogic has had 1 more goal/assist thn DT but TR has played 5 more games. Look at the amount of chances DT has created, easily creates more than any other player

Turnbull was on all of the free kicks and corners as well though, that goes down as a chance created

He did miss 4 months though and others would be picking those corners/free kicks up but he is still way ahead. Without the injury he would have been double figures for goals and assists

His passing stats are better than TR, made twice the amount of passes in 5 games less. He gets so much more involved in the game than TR does.TR does have magic moments though but looking at the stats I'd be picking Turnbull more often than not

He's not dynamic enough and will need to improve certain aspects of his game if he wants to hold down a regular first team place under Ange.

Dynamic in terms of movement and athleticism? Rogic is in the same boat then.

What Turnbull brings is his passing ability and vision, he makes the forward passes not many other players in the team can, that’s why Ange likes him. I doubt he’ll be good enough for Europe same as Rogic but he’ll be hugely valuable domestically.

What we need is a Turnbull who can collect the ball when under pressure, stay composed, and pick out one of Kyogo or Maeda's runs and release us on the counter. Last few sevco games have had us unable to get out for chunks and he could be, if not the, then one of the answers.

He is still 22, I think he is quality already, imagine how good he will be in 2 or 3 years. I find it odd that people want shot of him.

What is great about this conversation is how far we’ve come from last year. Rogic, Turnbull and McGregor couldn’t take us to a title, however this year, all three are revitalised and we are arguing about good midfielders. We really are only one top midfielder a LB and a LCB(assuming CCV stays) away from being a force in the CL. The SPL is really only a two horse race for us, and I can see us handing out some consistent proper spankings next year.

And a lot of his corners and free kicks go no where. Set piece opportunities from corners and free kicks awarded around the box have provided very few goals. It would be good to see someone step up so that these delivered real opportunities. Even Hearts had Kingsley (I think) who get very close with a free kick outside the box. Have not seen that much this year from Celtic. Someone who could convert 3-4+ of those free kicks around the box each season would be a fantastic addition.

Only thing that concerns me with Turnbull is that he runs like he’s just been pulled in off the street

Pace isn't everything, think folks are getting carried away with the few sprinters weve brought in. Cant have a team just full of pace, need some skillful slower players to pull the strings. As stated above he creates a * of a lot of chances.

It is a problem though when we have so many similar attacking midfielder with the same physical attribute.. Turnall, rogic, Oreilly are all slugs reo as well even though he is more athletic than those 3 he is a lazy * at times and has horrible fitness, its ok to carry one but when we have to play 2 its usually a problem as we seen a few times this year, especially vs bodo.

The corners and free kicks went nowhere as we had no physical presence to finish them. The delivery has been good enough

Yeah he definitely needs to add more creativity to his game where he can play a killer ball or defence splitting pass.

    Nice dummy and finish.

Another goal contribution, imagine what he’d be on if he didn’t get injured for 3/4 month.

He’s been great today. Most of what we’ve done well has come through him.
