Been playing this over the last week or so. What a fantastic game. 26hrs in and have barley scratched the surface. One of the best games I’ve played in a very long time

I am 50hrs in and have tonnes left to do, it is actually daunting looking at the map. It is staggering. I am addicted to it.

I heard a guy talking on YouTube who had finished it at 105hrs and after it looked at others and vids and realised he had missed bits all over the place.

I'm so glad it has sold so well. They had hoped for 4M in sales and its done 12M. Not a microtransaction in sight.

I’ve had covid so been smashing it. Never played a game like it, wasn’t sure I’d like it but I’m well hooked now.

Been watching Limmy play it as I play it… can’t get enough.

Level 60 now, did my best yesterday to unlock as much of the map as I could.

Stuck on godskin apostle at the min, cant lay a glove on him, might have to try some magic etc.

Aye defo. If you’re into that kinda thing it’s a no brainer, but even if you’re not, like me, good chance you’ll still love it.

I know that there is Coop/pvp in it, but can you interact with other players when you are in cities/towns etc??

From what i can understand you can't and that is what's holding me back on this.

    * of War is probably my favourite game ever. But it’s a wee bit different to this. It’s worth a shot though.

Would it be along the same lines of Valhalla and Ghost of Tsushima? Obviously with more of a fantasy twist though

Souls games are their own thing really its ultimate challenge, ultimate reward.

Very tough but rarely unfair (though it wont feel like it haha)

The stories you have to work out for yourself, nothing is explained in a conventional way.

Nothings hooked me like this a long time.

I was mad into all the previous ones aswell, holding out for a Bloodborne 2 some day.

I’ve not played them so not sure.

It’s hard to explain. There’s not a massive focus on story, it’s more the experience of grinding, the difficulty of boss fights and overcoming that.

It’s open world though so you can literally just cut about. You’ll get mangled over and over by some * you run into, go away and forget about him while you level up then come back. I find that side addictive.

Switching to dual katanas finally done him in.

Can realistically see myself putting a few 100 hours into this game, never ending!

I’m hearing people finishing it in 60 hours or so. I must be almost at that and I’m nowhere near finished.

Busting to play it but very fearful.

Bloodborne was actually easy enough, in a way.

DS3 was ok... But STILL cant beat the final *. Joke of a boss. Has about literally 60 different skill sets. Must have spent a good 20 hours on him. Cant get him past half health.

So im very very pessimistic about Elden Ring. Dont EVER wanna feel that frustration again.

I’m absolutely pish at these sort of games. No coordination, unable to learn enemy move signals.

But I’m brute forcing my way through :56: I think they’ve made it perfectly that there’s different ways to approach a fight and you can make it easier or harder to your liking. Like not using summons etc.

Fought a main boss last night and set the demi humans summon on them, they kept stunning the boss and while I kicked * out them.
