    Anyone else notic how we're doing our business low fees up to 3million anything after that loan with option to buy. I think getting our hands burnt with Baraks had lead to this plus Ange's eye for a player

    Squads in fantastic shape for the long term if this goes through. (Assuming we sign CCV and Jota)

    Left Back is the only position now needing an immediate starter.

    Long term CB and RW are the only two real positions we have to think about with the current squad.

    All our assets on long term deals and first contracts at the club so it’ll take stupid offers for us to sell.

    Next couple of years shaping up nicely.

    The speed of the rebuild over the last two windows is genuinely surprising, how many of us had this season completely written off as a work in progress with the state we were in back in the summer? Just need to shift some of the deadwood off the wage bill now, though that's easier said than done.

    That’s almost a dozen players who could be here for the long term. Hart aside, they’re all at a very good age with potential to improve.

    Plus on top of that you have the likes of McGregor, Rogic, Turnbull, Forrest etc.

    This is much more like it.

    Aye the way we've operated in such a short space of time....has been nothing short of remarkable..

    Most had this taking a season or two..

    We're probably 2 signings (outwith Jota and Carter-Vickers) from being practically done already..

    Who moves on though?

    We've a lot of guy's now getting further down the pecking order....some on big wages..

    Midfield is well stocked
    Soro has to go
    McCarthy looks like a bad signing now in all honesty
    Bitton has shown form but probably further away now
    Boli
    Barkas
    Ajeti

    Need loans for Urhoghide, Montgomery and Kenny..

    Likely need to actively get a good few off the books before any other possible inconings I'd imagine after O'Riley..

    A left back we all agree would be massive and another winger type..

    Ajeti
    McCarthy
    Connell
    O'Connor
    Afolabi
    Doohan
    Moffat (Loan)
    Montgomery (Loan)
    Osaze (Loan)
    Robertson (Loan)
    Shaw (Loaned out again during the summer)

    I wouldn't be too shocked if a few Israeli sides come in for Bitton as well.

    CB and LB need to be our priority signings this summer.

    Would agree here.

    Get O'Reilly over the line and a decent left back in and you have to consider the first two windows combined, under Ange, as a great success.

    More deadwood out the door please.

    Keep bitton from that list. He offers something different if we do need to slow a game down or defend a bit more. That's not normally the Ange way, but it's an option and Bitton can do it at least.

    So much needs loaned, sold, or just released for our own sake

    1 and a half great windows so far with Ange. Have we ever signed so many first teams who have actually had a big impact on the team? I know the new Bhoys have only played one game but early signs are good. Two Sheff Wed and 2 Irish boys were never going to be for the first team straight away.


    Jury still out on Starfelt, has some great games and some poor ones but can still come very good in time. GG has had the fitness and injury problems so can’t judge yet. But the rest have hit the ground running. McCarthy looking like the only one who isn’t going to give us much. But 1 outta about 10 is good going.

    Ideally we'd sign a new LB and a forward player (well, a winger). Do that and we're absolutely set. Wouldn't even need many signings in summer, which is crazy.

    Hard to see a place here for Soro, McCarthy or Ajeti. And obviously punt Barkas if possible. Decent few quid off the wage bill there.

    Would be nice to have a couple of pre contracts lined up. Would make it even smoother..

    Aye I wouldn't have him down as a must to bin, just that I can see him falling down the pecking order more now due to the amount of bodies we have..

    Maeda didnt look like a winger at all to me, id have him alongside kyogo and giakoumakis as our strikers.

    Id defo like another winger in, preferably ferhat or gudmondsson.

    I'd agree, I know he played there in Japan but I wouldnt have that as his ideal position, to me I'd worry about him technically. Don't doubt his pace, obviously.

    Someone like the two you mention would be good.
