Dune 7.5/10 Took me a while to get round to this but really liked it, visuals were amazing.

Just watched Midnight Special as it was on the BBC.

Mixed feelings. I liked it, and Michael Shannon was great as always, but it left a lot of unanswered questions and I think Adam Driver's character was a bit of a waste of his acting ability. Worth a watch though.

Ghostbusters Afterlife 2/10 Dunno why I bothered. Loved the originals, this to me just seemed too much like just a daft children's movie. I thought the originals were for any age group. Pish.

Just watched a film called 'Land' which for me made me quite emotional.

Depressing film shot in such a scenic setting somehow stopped me from switching over.... something about it.

I loved Scream(22). Red right hand and the “it’s an honour” scenes were my favourite. I still think Scream 2 is the best Scream(96) sequel though. Love my bhoy Ghostface. He has a very hot voice.

Making my way through them now. Seen the first two a couple of times but nothing beyond them.

First one is my favourite slasher. Second is pretty good but not quite the same level. Third is garbage. Watched it last night and it was a slog.

Aye, Ghostface is class. That opening scene of the original Scream is perfection.

Thought yhe nee scream was fantastic as well, not many franchises get past trilogy point and still make good movies so kudos to scream for 4 and 5 being great

Went to the new Scream the other day, and thought it was pretty decent. Don't think it was as good as the original, probably just below Scream 2 of the other films. Hard to match the original though, as @Officer Doofy said, the opening to that was as good as skasher flicks openings will ever get. Amazing to think its been 25 years since the original.

Cracking wee film. Andy Samberg is a guest at a wedding but he’s stuck in a time loop and wakes up on that day every day. Decent wee comedy. Main lassie was brilliant as well.

Just watched this. No bad. Quite like these Groundhog Day type films, if they are done right anyway.

Thought it’d be a stupid wee typical comedy, and it is really, but I liked the kind of dark/depressing look at it towards the end.

Basically realising that even in a Groundhog Day scenario being a * person takes it toll even if there’s no consequences.

    Stitches

Irish comedy/horror film with Ross Noble as a birthday clown who comes back from the dead to get revenge on the kids who killed him. Highly recommend it to anyone who likes slasher films. It's far more of a comedy than a horror but the kills are incredible. Ross Noble is brilliant as the clown.

Somebody described it as Superbad with a killer clown. Would say that's spot on.

Werewolves Within on Netflix. Comedy horror. Quite a few laugh out loud moments.

Relatively low budget but highly entertaining full throttle action flick

This movie is very much 'there but for the grace of * go I'. A few tweaks and set 10 years later and that could easily be telling the story of my family and how came to be in Australia back then. This is touching film, at times both sad and funny, and a story well worth the telling and teased a tear or two from yours truly. Highly recommend.

Eternals - 2.5 hours of bland, cardboard dialogue..and no script.
