Who can’t handle the speculation? Can’t see why we should be embarrassed either. I would have been embarrassed had we entered a bidding war with Boro. He chose the better wage and inflated transfer fee and we move on. Turnbull looks twice the player going by YT footage and we can look at that position again. He is not any better than what we have.

Got to agree kyogo is a concern and the Greek striker we have hardly seen and no guarantee both will stay fit and leaves us with one natural striker .

I guess it's upto the Mods to decide what they want to do with @BigDoggyWoofWoof

You can get as upset as you want, it's how he comes off. When journos give him a wee dig, he bites back at the slightest hint of criticism. Going from close to signing two players one day to 'nah mate, no more signings, don't ask me again' the next is obviously a rash response. If I'm wrong, say why.

The bottom line is as well, what he's saying is clearly pish. We obviously need more signings. We'll obviously be looking at more players, we're only halfway through the window. You might see it as a strategy, him playing 4D chess, I just think he's a bit of a moody *.

You're the only Celtic fan that thinks then.

There's no embarrassment in Celtic not wanting to pay McGree £24k a week if we don't think he's worth it. If he'd rather the extra £ than play for Celtic then we move on.

There's also no shame in Jota taking his time to review all options, in the form he was in pre-injury he won't be short of options. He's a quality player but there's no need to flap or feel embarrassed about it.

I didn't detect any moodiness whatsoever in Ange's interview, not even a little bit. We've obviously done leg-work on players we wanted in quickly this window and got the vast majority over the line, we're also trying to get CCV and Jota signed up permanently.

You're trying to stir up some controversy where there isn't any.

2 weeks since the Japanese lads arrived. C’mon Celtic, I’m getting impatient for more new signings.

I think it's somewhat insincere to claim that Ange isn't a bit nippy with the press. It's a pattern of behaviour when he hears a question he doesn't like. His response to being asked about resting players not so long ago also seemed a bit kneejerk. Y'know, I'll rest them when they're 40. Daft comments to make when half the squad's out with hamstring injuries.

It's not about creating controversy, I'm just * off hearing we don't need more players when we do. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt by attributing this to his temperament rather than poor judgment, which is the alternative explanation. The only way his statement is excusable is if I'm right and he's havering.

If being a Celtic fan means you never say anything critical about the manager, * that. How did that work out with our last appointment?
