Why the * would anyone want Ralston on the bench and Taylor in the team instead?

What does Ralston have to do to convince some people?

Not a fan of the oriental lads? Think the boss brought them over just for sight seeing?

I don't think it's a case of Taylor over Ralston. Juranovic is wasted at leftback so can understand why alot of people would want him to play in his natural position, it's a belief I held however Ralston has been playing great this season and I now think it should be Ralston's position unless his form drops.

fs its early days yet I’m sure we will see plenty of them. Not sure they will all be thrown into the starting lineup in such a crucial game straight away. Maeda probably will be now that Jota looks like missing out.

All this is assuming Kyogo isn't fit. Try and get minutes for Hatate

I'd like to see juranovic in his natural position. He's our penalty & free kick taker also. He played in 3 different positions in one of his last games, I think he's quite versatile.

Plenty games ahead to see Ralston and it could be a position where they can swap about to lessen fatigue.

Our strongest 11 at the moment has Ralston and Juranovic in it regardless if it's Juranovics natural position. He can take pens and free kicks from left back too. Taylor offers absolutely nothing to this team.

We have no wriggle room in the league for thinking of games ahead. Strongest 11 starts every game.

For me Ralston is one of the first names on the team sheet and again for me Juranovic hasn't done enough to displace him, at the moment Ralston should be and deserves to be first choice right back but both should start

With some of the young lads in the squad sporting the same haircut you would think they were all from the Shelby clan.

Kyogo>Jota>Ralston been our best 3 players this season with Calmac being his usual consistent self controlling the game a bit deeper.Madness to leave one of our top performing players like Ralston out.Put Rogic and CCV up there too:56:

To say Taylor offers absolutely nothing to the team is clearly nonsense - otherwise you're saying Ange (and Clarke) don't know what they're doing.
He isn't good at beating a man and doesn't have a burst of pace to get away either which is why he doesn't look like he's doing anything spectacular (which he isn't). But he rarely gives the ball away, links up well with the midfield and winger and sometimes the strikers, works hard, is good positionally, makes good runs in behind the defence and can put a decent ball into the box most of the time.
JJ and AR go past people and that is why they look more impressive but they both give the ball away more than Taylor especially JJ and their link up play isn't as good.
I'm not saying he should definitely play but to say he contributes nothing is just not the case.

Following the rescheduled winter break, Ange and the team are ready to dive straight back into action with a busy schedule ahead for the Celts!

First up to visit Celtic Park this year, Shaun Maloney’s Hibernian side make the trip to Paradise on Monday, January 17 as league action resumes in Glasgow.

For supporters who can’t be at Celtic’s first fixture of 2022, you can still tune in to all the live action from the comfort of home, with StreamDigital’s Pay-per-view option.

The Celts will be looking to make home advantage count, and the new Bhoys will be looking to make their impact in green and white, and three-points on the table would be the way to kick-off their time in the Hoops!

It’s a 7:45pm kick-off on Monday with pay-per-view available to supporters in the UK and Ireland only, priced £12.99.

He's been really unfortunate with his injury this season. I think he'll convert (some) people once he gets fit and a run in the team.

The teams put out this season have been so based around scraping together who is fit, and players have filled in and done a solid job, but I want to start seeing our players in their best positions. I absolutely think Ange will pick Taylor and Juranovic at fullback when he has everyone fit.
