Great to have the big man back, we should still be looking to bring in another CB and get Starfelt oot the door.

I'd be giving him 10-15 minutes against hibs if we're winning comfortable, and 60 against Alloa. Probably wouldn't start him against the huns but even having him fit for it would be massive.

Alloa play on a plastic pitch and I doubt he will play any part against hibs

For sure getting Jullien back will be massive. For me in terms of Starfelt I am not sold on him yet but I am ok with giving him another year as long as we do manage to sign CCV on a long term deal. Having Jullien, CCV, Starfelt and Walsh as our 4 main center backs with Scales able to cover at center back as well I would be ok with that. For me the biggest issue at the back is getting in a left back at the level of a Juranovic.

He probably won't play against Hibernian no but hopefully he is at least on the bench. The game is likely to be tight so he won't play probably but if we did get control of the game enough it would be great to see him get some time.

Christopher Jullien: Celtic manager explains plan for long-suffering defender
The first Celtic senior appearance for Christopher Jullien in more than a year might only be a matter of weeks away, Ange Postecoglou has suggested.

The French centre-back played the second half of a bounce game against St Mirren on Wednesday in his first team action of any kind since he sustained knee ligament damage against Dundee United on December 30, 2020. A year on the sidelines for the defender who joined the club two-and-a-half years ago in a £7million deal from Toulouse means caution will continue to be taken over his first-team reintroduction. However, the beginning of the end to Jullien’s injury nightmare could be firmly in sight.

He’s working hard and we’re continuing to build him up so he’ll get an opportunity in the next few weeks,” said the Celtic manager of the player, who has made 62 appearances and scored 10 goals for the club – including the winner in the 2019 League Cup final over Rangers. “Then we’ll see how it goes.”

The Alloa game is the perfect opportunity to give him a run out. Looking forward to seeing him back.

A goal every 6 games is pretty decent for a centre back, so will be nice to actually have an aerial threat from set pieces.

1 goal every 6 games, another reason why he’ll be a huge addition.

A serious goalscoring record for a CB! Were most of them from set pieces? I * hope so.

Not 100% sure but I cannot remember off hand of one not being from a set piece. He is a massive threat and good on set pieces in both boxes. He is also a very good passer out of the back especially longer range balls a bit like Alan Stubbs in that regard.

He scored a cracker against Hamilton away that came from open play, like a wee side foot volley.

Presumably as a result of a set piece though and he’s stayed up until the attack died out.

He scored one against Motherwell at the start of last season. Wasn't from a set piece

Your right I remember that one now. I think we won 4-1 that day. It was a great side foot finish very like his goal against the zombies in the league cup final although that one was from a set piece.

Yes that one was a late counter attack goal that he got on the end of and slotted home.

So overall 8 set piece goals for Jullien in 60 odd games. Still a good tally.

Didn't see him in the photos from training this week. Hope he's still doing ok.

Would be great if he was able to play tomorrow against Alloa. At least an appearance off the bench maybe.
