Him and CCV will be a solid pairing, his aerial ability at set pieces has been badly missed

Good to see that he's back in training and ready to play.

Won't be long until he's getting ripped to shreds on here for making a mistake or two haha.

I totally agree. The attributes in the air in both boxes that Jullien has will be huge for us even more so given that has been one of if not our biggest weakness so far this season.

I was dreading coming on here to find out he had a hammy as that's the type of luck we carry

That is brilliant Jota and Jullien playing the second half great news. Sounds like they both have a chance of making the bench then next week

CHRISTOPHER JULLIEN has ended nearly 13-months of injury torment by finally making a Celtic comeback.

The £7million French stopper was part of a strong Hoops squad which beat St Mirren 1-0 in a closed doors game at the Lennoxtown training base.

Jullien - who suffered a cruciate ligament rupture against Dundee United at the end of December, 2020 - came through his second half chance to underline once more he's edging ever closer to a first team return.

The former Toulouse star - a Treble winner in his debut campaign at Celtic - has been back in training for a number of weeks.

And for boss Ange Postecoglou it was a hugely welcome sight to witness Jullien continue his progress after painstaking rehab, including a visit to France's renowned Clairfontaine football base.

It's thought that Monday's return to Premiership action against Hibs will be too soon for Jullien.

But providing he maintains his training with no setbacks Postecoglou could consider him for the Scottish Cup tie at Alloa on January 22.

Looking forward to seeing him back in action. Long long time out though, inevitably will be rusty for a wee while yet.

Regardless of him coming back, we need another CB. Not Bitton at CB.

    1. Julien fitness may be ropey, which is understandable.
    And
    2. His form pre injury was pretty * poor.

But it's a body back whuch is hopefully a gpod thing.
