Games where Ange is completely found out. Can’t come to small, compact grounds and play like Man City. It just doesn’t happen.

We got out of jail with it up at Dingwall but he's majorly got it wrong again tonight..

The worst time for this to happen..

They'll comfortably be going in to the break 6 clear now at the very least..

 

We were playing against 11 men that barely came out their own half...but those front 3 are nowhere good enough if you want to win the title.

 

To have no striker in the first 11 or even on the bench is * pathetic

Spent 2nd half with sterile possession and looking to get to the by line and send in aimless crosses to give their defenders heading practice.

No effort to work any shots at goal from the edge of the box and baffling why at least one of our centre backs wasn't pushed up to attack for the the last 15 minutes.

 

Roll on the transfer window. We Need to strengthen if we have any chance at league.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but before Sunday resting Kyogo in a cup final against Hibs for St Mirren away would have seemed fairly stupid.

 

Lack of squad depth finally caught up with us. Every team will drop points over a season but to come away with 2 points from 3 games against a dire Livingston(x2) and a Covid hit St Mirren is just not good enough. Worst thing is sevco will brush aside this same St Mirren team in a few days. We now have to go on a winning run for a long time. Can't see it myself an if we lose at home to the hun it will be game over.

 

No shame in failing to beat St Mirren reserves, they're a class outfit.

 

Terrible performance. That's a massive kick in the nut sack. Literally everyone was awful. Even McGregor and Tam.

League isn't done but ffs, we're making it so hard for ourselves. Desperately need reinforcements in January and Jota/Kyogo back.

 

all season we have struggled with set pieces in attack, how do we have a team that cant score from corners or free kicks, I've never seen a Celtic team waste so many set pieces before.

6 points behind, now we find ourselves in a situation where we must win 19 out of 19 games to win this league, nothing less will do.

 

A load of guys on that pitch tonight just don't have the required quality. It's as simple as that.

 

Shocking performance but 6 points can be caught especially by beating the huns in our 2 home games.

all eyes on the board though because if we don’t bring in 4/5 quality players then we would be as well just giving them the title just now.

 

What has cost us was not learning from our lucky winners. Some * on here were slighting people who were critical after those wins for being too negative and that such wins are needed to win the league. They are, but not if you don't learn from * performances and don't improve!

We didn't learn from them and the result is that the game where we didn't manage to score late arrived.

Question is, is it a problem of tactics or the players available?

The league is far from gone but we will need proper investment in the transfer window and Ange needs to think about how we can break up packed defences better.

At the beginning of the season I would've bitten your hand off for heading into the January window being only 6 points behind.

Do I side with the viewpoint about how far we come? I kinda wrote off this season thinking it'd be down to a rebuild. However, we've won a cup and are still within touching distance of the huns.

Or do I side with we should be 4 points at a most behind these *? We should've taken all three points. Any team we put out are better than St Mirren, with or without players isolating.

I'm too angry at the moment to think clearly about it.
