Something he done today I was really impressed with. We were under a bit of serious pressure in the 2nd half and he got the ball in or just around the penalty area. The logical solution was to just put the ball out the side of the pitch, but he calmly took it and found a man upfield with a pass. Relieved the pressure on us.

 

Gets better every game.

 

Absolute rock,hes so good in his defensive duties he makes Starfelt look worse.

CAMERON CARTER-VICKERS says it's too early to discuss a permanent move to Celtic.

The on-loan Tottenham defender has been a standout performer in Ange Postecoglou's side since making the move north in the summer window.



The Hoops pushed through a deadline day deal to bring in the stopper and he has been an ever-present at the heart of the defence ever since.

As part of the deal, Celtic have an option to sign the 23-year-old on a full time basis come the summer.

But the centre-back - who lifted the Premier Sports Cup at Hampden on Sunday - admits it's still early days with regards to his future.

Asked the question about his future by Jim White on his talkSPORT show, he said: “I am enjoying my time up there and it is all going well.



But I think like you said, I think it is a bit too early.

“It’s not fully down to me as well.




So it is obviously discussions that will have to be had at the end of the season.”

Carter-Vickers has made 22 appearances in all competitions so far this campaign netting twice and providing one assist

 

Got a feeling he won't want to stay. Would absolutely love to be wrong though. Might just be his character I'm reading all wrong.

 

He will hear what our other players are on in wages and nearly faint, I would love it if he signed up but I think the best we can hope for is a 2nd loan season. But I expect there are plenty epl clubs looking on with interest and sadly money nearly always wins.

 

I'd easily spend the reported £6m on him.

He'll stay if we activate it. I feel it in my bones.

 

Would definitely take him for £6million, can't think of any goals he's cost us to be honest. Think his distribution will keep improving as he plays more too.

 

We would be crazy not to buy him for £6m. We sold Ajer for £17.5m and he had less than a year on his contract. Get the guy signed to a 5 year deal, pay the money and if someone wants to come in and test the waters, £20m after a couple of seasons.

 

I get the feeling he will want to try the premiership again.

Hope he wants to sign, though. First few games I thought he looked quite good but wasn’t quite getting the hype. He’s been top notch the last couple of months though. A rock at the back.

 

He has been fantastic! Would love him to stay but not sure he will. He will fancy getting a crack at the PL if some bottom half teams takes him.
