I’m sorry but anyone who ever wanted him sold is a * idiot and doesn’t deserve to be listened to.

Don’t think I’m going to far when I say they deserve to be set on fire infront of their family.

What a goal that was. To tap it over, have a sublime pirouette and tap it in was qaulity. The pass was inch perfect aswel.

He still gets away without any critisicm. Against hearts he tried to header the ball back the way & totally * up starting a good attack for them. If that was Starfelt it would be meltdown on this forum with people wanting him dropped. As I've said plenty times. McGregor is a good player but not as good as some of ours fans think & gets away with murder when making a mistake.

I don’t remember the incident you’re referring to but you’re probably right, he gets off without criticism most of the time. That’s because he consistently puts in 8 or 9/10 performances though. He’s the least of our worries and has been for the past 5+ seasons.

My main problem with McGregor is that he is a fast superior player when playing further forward than the sitting mid. Even though he had a good game yesterday his best parts were in the final 3rd IMHO. I thought he played his best football under Rodgers in that role. As said before fans that like him seem to give him a pass on mistakes which they wouldn't give other players.

Completely disagree tbh. Much prefer him in the deeper role, particularly in this system anyway.

He's perfect for receiving the ball under pressure, facing his own goal, and turning a pressing attacker/midfielder. Makes us tick in there and still has the ability and license to get forward and contribute to the attack.

I definitely take your point that he was class in that role under Rodgers but I love him in the holding role now. He’s really grown into it. His ability to take the ball under pressure and advance us up the pitch is invaluable and he’s not a bad ball winner either. I used to agree that he was better further forward but I’m fully behind him in the 6 now.

That was 20+ million for a man who looked completely scunnered and needed a fresh start elsewhere. I'd knock back 50 at the minute :50:

The brutal for two seasons quote is hilarious, that 9 in a row season he was probably at his best for us. Convinved he was on for about 20 goals that season if it didn’t get called early, he was superb
