Its hard to sign a decent no.2. I actually don't think Bain is terrible. He'd get a game for most teams in the league. I'd take Siegrist in a heartbeat but I doubt he or many other keepers would come here knowing they'll be 2nd choice. Unless you're talking another oldie or a kid. If Bain is happy to be No.2 then I'd be happy to keep him. Similar to Zaluska

Changed the papa Francesco to Ange Postecoglou but what are they singing at the end of it?

Getting rid of that Papa Francesco song already makes him a legend.

Is it just Postecoglou that drones on or is there something else at the end of it?

Can't make it out. Can't just be Ange Postecoglou or it doesn't go :giggle1:

Some of this football might look familiar, I couldn't find a longer form of the highlights, but is an exhibition of Ange ball that the A-League had not seen until that day (the first 30 seconds are average)! This is from 2010 I think, over 10 years ago, where the frick did that go!

Even these highlights show some familiar patterns of play to what we are seeing Celtic do in the early days playing Ange ball.

Brisbane Roar demolish Adelaide United 7-1

    ---

I'm an Everton fan as well, and was shouting Ange's name when we were hunting for a manager... we got Rafa Benitez who has rendered Everton unwatchable!

    ---

One thing I've noticed through Ange's career is his ability to greatly improve individuals, and bring through young raw talent and utilise them. We are already seeing some of this.

Worth noting is just how experienced he is, the proof will be in the pudding at seasons end, that's what he'll be judged on. The man may lack European prestige, but his wikipedia shows a lot of games under his belt as manager after a successful professional career, a man that wins titles domestic and international, has over 50% win rate, has been to world cups and managed against the best sides with a vastly inferior squad. Experienced.

This was a chance worth taking by Celtic, even if it wasn't what was hoped for, they have brought in a winner, who think independently, evolves, has a spine and style.

The Ange dynasty has arrived at Celtic, I truly hope he gets the backing in January, it's needed to secure league and in turn champions league next season.
With champions league, Jota is possible, and a couple more sprinkles of exciting talent much easier to secure.

Ange could create something special at Celtic, dominate the domestic scene and give fans excitement at the highest European level, a team you're proud of.

Would like to see us go a bit more direct now and again with ball's over the top for Kyogo to feed off of..

Maybe why he isn't getting as much service, as pointed out in his thread..

Scoring loads from open play which is great but would like us to be banging in more from set pieces. Hopefully Jullien and Giakoumakis start chipping in when back..

Only 6 goals from set pieces which isn't that good..

    Decent..

Whether anyone thinks we overplay at time's or no, we now have a clear way of playing that the manager has drilled in to us....and yet we're still nowhere near the finished article in term's of perfecting it....or having the personnel..

    Impressive..

And still hasn’t been able to field his strongest team this season yet…

Guessing it's the distance the ball has travelled while in our possession.
