Was very poor, but he really should be one for the future, as I’m sure Ange alluded to.

You want the opportunity to allow these talented young players to test themselves against high level opposition, but it needs to be tempered a bit. We probably would’ve gotten away with one of Abada or Johnston coming in if we had capable replacements for Bitton and Kyogo.

Has went alarmly backwards over the last couple of months and would be only sub for now on if Forrest is fit and needs to up his game when he gets on .

I never said HE caused us to get exposed. You said the right was solid, it wasn’t. He wasn’t tremendous defensively and that’s that. They got through the right hand side as much as the left. SofaScore actually has them attacking down their left more than the right. Normally he’s out of shot still up the pitch so I don’t understand the tremendous patter.

Anyway that’s that. Abada was poor, Forrest was poor. Both don’t need hounded, ones barely 20 and ones just back from injury… my initial point.

I can remember them attacking down their left and right, a lot, both. Apparently the left more than the right too.

But we were “solid” on the right because Forrest was “* tremendous”.

    Mental.

You’re wanting specific details outside the highlights of a 90 minute game I watched once.

Just accept someone else’s opinion and move on with your life ffs :giggle1:

Won't bang on about it but I'm struggling to see it with this guy. Wirtz is 18 btw before I get the 'he's young' patter. If you can't do the basics like trap and control a ball at 19 then it's a concern. Steep learning curve, I'm worried it's too steep for him.

They got down that wing a * of a lot when Forrest went off, before that it was all down the other side they had the most danger. As of the last bit, why the * are you on a place that talks about the games if you can’t take somebody questioning you back :56:

Leverkusen sold Kai Havertz no problem because they thought Wirtz was better, he’s the next big thing out of German football. It’s like saying Mbappe was scoring in World Cup finals as a teenager. We don’t get guys like Wirtz.

He's been abysmal for a while now . Forrest should absolutely be first choice there.

I just don't think he has the tools to play on the wing, pretty poor dribbler and can't beat a man to save himself.

Our front 3 should be Jota, Kyogo and Forrest 100%, and if Abada has to play I'd like to see him play in the number 10 role or even at ST.

Started really brightly as well. He’s the backup to Forrest and will be learning off of him, happy enough with the youngster, glad Forrest is back to replace him though.

Started with a bang but been left really disappointed with recent showings. He offered very little today. All of our attacks had to go through jota today. Abada gave us very little going forward today

Can see if he's not in space and can run with the ball he's literally waiting on Ralstons overlapping run every time.

That can be effective sometimes but would be nice to see him doing a lot more in those situations.

Needs a bit of trickery to his game when facing a defender one on one. He either cuts back or just tries to knock it past them..

Started off on fire and then slowly started to fizzle out but still chipped in with a goal or assist. Now not doing that either, still young right enough but really needs to up his game.
