Good for the goal but I’m talking the about an overall performance and the fact Abada is being criticised.

Not sure about * tremendous either considering out wide, left and right, we were exposed a number of times.

The right side was absolutely solid while he was on the pitch. What chances were we exposed on down there while he was on? Amiri coming on for them down the left and Forrest coming off on our right was a major gamechanger along with Bitton being subbed.

He’s like the exact opposite of many wingers at his age and stage: he often has great end product, but it’s almost everything else that isn’t there. :56:

He’ll get there, but he needs to learn pretty quickly if he wants to properly contribute at this level soon.

It's not just tonight though. He's been murder for weeks on end. People have been saying for a while now that his technical ability is * poor for an attacking, creative player.

Agree with @HTG, I'd rather see him more central. I'd much prefer to see him coming on for Kyogo, as opposed to Ajeti.

100% doesn’t have the strength for that for me, too easily bullied.

The way we play doesn't exactly require a strong striker. We need someone with movement, pace and ability to press up top. Abada brings that. Ajeti doesn't.

Don't get me wrong, we need a striker in January. But Abada needs to improve massively if he wants to ever be a regular for us out wide.

He’s fine when he’s not amongst players because he can take more than one touch to control the ball?

How is it scatterguns when it’s something I’ve been saying for weeks/months?

Technically he is absolutely miles short of what a Celtic winger needs and it’s not about his strength or anything else. He can’t beat a man one on one.

I think when he came in he got off to a better start that even he expected with a few important goals and sort of rode the wave.

Reality has now hit and he looks a shadow of the player from the beginning of the season. Gives the ball away too much and can’t seem to take a player on 1 v 1. In these very tight games with not much space and being closed down quickly he is a passenger.

I totally agree too. Has the finish and the pressing to play there, and his poor touch (and certainly dribbling) wouldn’t be as exposed.

He has pace and a good first touch Abada as well as end product but his overall game is massively lacking.

He’s barely left being a teenager though so that’s to be expected, he still has massive potential.

It wasn’t solid the entire game. I honestly don’t see where he was * tremendous defensively. He pressed well. But attacking wise he wasn’t at it. But, a run in the team would help.

Come on, he's done well thus far..

Plenty of room for improvement with Forrest to learn from.

Poor touch through the middle is exposed far, far more.

Where was it exposed? His covering and positioning on that wing were excellent which was why we were solid down there up until he came off.

He had a brilliant first few weeks. No doubt.

But he's been really poor for some time.

Has potential but his distribution is atrocious. Thought he was a bit of a liability when he came on.

You’re asking me to tell you exact moments we were exposed, I’m not a robot. Off the top of my head the Diaby woodwork chance started down their left and was switched to the right. If I could flick through and look at other times I would.

This isn’t even about Forrest now, I’m not blaming him for anything defensively but he wasn’t tremendous and I wanted more from him attacking. He was tremendous for the goal, not defending.

It was 100% Juranovic that chance. It’s if he was getting us exposed numerous times you think you’d have one off the top of your head. It was all down the other side until he came off. Partly due to Frimpong and Diaby being very dangerous as well, but Amiri coming on and Forrest off was a big, big swing.

He has been pretty poor the last few games and when he's bad he's pish. He's still young and might improve however, we need quality just now to help us win the league and he's a luxury we can't afford just now if he's not doing it on the park
