When was the last time Callum McGregor put in a really good performance. Has Turnbull turned up since jablonec?

Bitton coming off was a massive blow for us as well. Never thought I would be saying that, but he was very good tonight, not for the first time in Europe this season either.

Aye it is. First game away to a difficult tynecastle where we actually had a legitimate winner chopped off. 3rd game away to huns. Also away to livi where we’ve no won in ages on that * pitch.

I'm looking at it from a broader perspective. Comparing it to the last six months then yes, we have improved. Comparing it to the last five or ten years we have regressed massively and its all down to the board and their mismanagement of the club. Conference League doesn't cut it for me. We should be way above that.

I thought kyogo looked knackered so wasnt gutted about him coming off and we knew forrest had to come off due to only coming back from injury plus I thought abadas pace wouldve caused Bayern problems so had no issue with that either, jota however I wouldve kept on because MJ specialises in giving the ball away and making wrong decisions and jota to me still had some left in the tank.
The biggest loss was bitton going off who was outstanding, mcarthy was never going to catch up to the speed of the game.

If we had picked up a knock and either won or drew the game, I don’t think many would have complained to be honest. Losing that game the way we did could dent the momentum we had going, which could be worse than one of them picking up a knock. If we are worried about them picking up an injury, don’t play them at all.

Not been fussed about progressing in Europe this season.

But we've performed far better than i thought we would which goes to show if we had a few more faces who just make Anges plan work a little better and we better squad depth. Maybe we would have actually qualified.

So long as we can win the league this season...its all I * care about

He was the one still closing down their keeper and centre halfs when it went back to them, sometimes on his own as well second half when others behind him were running out of juice.

They are a good team, Turnbull and Biton are too slow mentally and physically for this level.
Hopefully after another couple of transfer windows we will be up at the same level as BL.

Just gutted man. I think in days to come we'll realise how much progress has been made and that it's fantastic we're even giving teams like Leverkusen such a solid game of it on their own turf. But in the context of tonight and how it all panned out, we're allowed to express our disappointment.

even wee kyogo has to tire sometime and maybe Ange was protecting him and saving him for the weekend. A player like Kyogo would never concede defeat.

I’m gutted as well. I’m not going to be whiny hyperbolic * about it though.

You keep fighting the good fight though. I’ll leave you all to it.

He's been playing for two consecutive seasons, even Mo Farrah riddled with steroids would be blowing by now.

Very rarely pop in to Celtic Chat these days. Same names spouting the same * after every defeat. It must get tiring. It’s * exhausting reading the *.

    Have at it.

A shame , decent performance but our usual failures in defence let us down yet again, we know where to invest in the transfer window.
