Tbf, I wanted both to be kept on at that time, Ajeti come on for Forrest and maybe 5 minutes later bring on Abada for Kyogo. Leave Jota on. Ajeti came on and immediately set up a goalscoring opportunity, I don’t think that was a bad change.

 

Four subs in five minutes is pretty * ridiculous to be honest. Totally disrupts the team. Hope he never does that again.

 

I think he got his subs wrong granted the bench is * pish.

 

Subs are always going to * us at this point because the quality on the bench is horrendous, so we shouldn't sacrifice the entire forward line at near enough the same time. Apart from that we don't know anything we didn't already know before tonight, attack is great and the defence is the worst in the competition and will need added to in january.

 

If I was to nitpick, I'd say we should have kept Jota and Kyogo, at least, on for another 5 minutes, but that's not really a criticism of him.

We're getting there, I'd say 3, maybe 4 players from being a team that can properly compete in Europe

I take it Jota and Forrest must have been knackered but it just shows our lack of depth and, for me, Abada is too lightweight for me and Turnbull was posted missing tonight

 

That’s on the assumption we sign Jota.

 

I think we'll definitely sign him, the question is whether or not we'll sell him straight away.

 

I think we will definitely try to sign him but I don’t think it’s guaranteed he will want to sign as much as it pains me to say it.

 

If we left any of the front 3 on and they got injured then we’d be up the creek without a paddle. Big December ahead and I’d say those subs were made with an eye on how much mileage they’ve been through and how much more is to come.

Yes a big opportunity missed but… there is other fish to fry.

 

Seen an interview recently way the big man saying basically defensive coaching isn’t his thing... he needs backed with proper coaches to start with... a few players and his own coaches we’ll talk flying

We have gone from lenny and his 85th min subs when the games were * to early subs that * the teams performance.

Hope the board give the manager at least 3 player in jan that he wants, would make a world of difference to our season.
