Going to be honest, I don't care if we lose. Lots of games coming up and we have Conference league confirmed. We have 9 domestic games before the break and right now that is more important.

 

Same team as yesterday with forrest in instead of abada.

Doubt we will get anything but it'll be a good learning curve for our team.
Main focus is really pushing on domestically. Hopefully in 4 weeks we will have a trophy and be top of the league.

Need at least a draw. If we get that then good chance still in Europa league even if Betis beat Ferencvaros.
Beat Betis 2-0 after drawing with Leverkusen means we are in next rd of Europa.

 

Agree, and even if Tam is fit, would still run with Bitton, actually be good for Tam to get some gametime, say last 20 min, have him primed for Sheep on Sunday, way more important game in my book.

 

Watch them go against Leverkusen. Hoops are in a different head space this time.

 

Does finishing 2nd not put us into a playoff this season, with a team dropping down from the CL? I thought I read that somewhere..

Second place goes into round of 32 whereas the first place essentially bypasses that round and into the last 16.

Anyone going to leverkusen I wouldn’t be packing the bags the now, looks like they will be going into lockdown over there due to the surge in cases also making vaccines mandatory to all citizens and visitors this could kick in as early as midnight tomorrow

 

Celtic SLO put out today that Away fans may not be allowed into the stadium. This is meant to be confirmed tomorrow whether this will be the case; same job that they pulled in Seville.

 

That would mean Leverkusen would have to sort out another place for the match or face a 3-0 penalty for us.

 

That's been the rumour for awhile now even from Germans I know. They seem to be targeting the unvaccinated. Hoping its just confirmation of the 2nd jab as I fly out tomorrow morning before the update.

No doubt main focus has to be on what is a massive run of fixtures between now and the end of December domestically. Hopefully we can put in a decent performance and come away with a much more respectable result then first time although that was a bit harsh on us last time given all the chances we missed. Still can't see anything other then a home win in this one. A draw even would be a massive result.

 

I'll not be too disappointed if we get beat, I only care about winning the league, everything else is a bonus.

We have the quality to give their defence problems on Thursday but overall I expect the way they pass the ball with intent and the players they have to take their chances will just be too much for us again. They are a genuine quality team, who I think most will agree, will go far in the tournament.

Whatever happens I just don't want to see us roll over without a battle. Get intae them Celtic
