Another day at the office for Jamesy Forrest. He's done this year after year for Celtic. A Celtic Great.

Ange brought Forrest on at the right time and he was excellent until last whistle. Hopefully he is close to full fitness as he will be vital over the winter fixtures. Brilliant Wee Jimmy.

I would have bitten your hand off for this scoreline pre game. Knew it wouldn't be easy, just delighted to get through.

Only chances they had all match was a wonder shot from Kane and * about at the back, otherwise it was extremely comfortable.

I think it’s very fair to say that he is a great. Should be a role model for the modern young talents in the Colts squad

He only brings it down with his left arm because the st Johnstone player is actively fouling him

What a game that was. The atmosphere electric, the passion. St Johnstone played a good game as well.

RIP Bertie. A man that played the Celtic fairytale, and told the story.

The new guys know what it means to play for this club. The love for this team is unrivalled!

Feels like a BIG win. St Johnstone were very, very good implementing their game plan and we would have lost that tie last season, even early this season.

Spot on here for me Turnbull finishes that early chance and one of the other attacks come off in the first 10 it totally changes the game.

The two box to box midfielders need to get in or on the edge of the box far more in this system. Even tweak the system and push Abada in one if he’s playing as Raltson provides the width out there anyway, and Abada can’t beat a man so struggles against a packed defence however he is lively in the box and can shoot with either foot.

Let Bitton (or whoever the 6 is) and inverted Juranovic control and recycle the play with one of the centre backs when teams are so deep and the other centre back play like a sweeper. Get the two 8s into positions to get shots off or at least be other bodies in the box who could get on the end of things with Kyogo.

Anyway job done on to the next game and the final on the 19th.

Can you imagine the "honest mistakes " thread on here if that was a St Johnstone player handling it in the lead up to the only goal of the game ?
