Because that worked this season, every fan that cancelled their ST in protest, there was someone waiting in the wing to take that seat instantly. Yes I get the sentiment and 100% agree with that, but practically wise it's never going to happen. Our club is too high profile and too well supported for everyone just to give in their ST's, even if 10% of ST holders gave in, the waiting list is about 3x that.

(Sorry ive been very percentagy today ....... lol)

It’s the waiting list that empowers the board, they have us renew our ST’s early summer knowing we as a support can’t/won’t risk losing our cherished seats

Fans can renew tickets but can still boycott games.I know the board still have ST money but there other factors to consider.

If fans dont go to games then there,s no money spent in the ground on match day be that merch,or other things like food drink raffle tickets etc, also in terms of advertising its a hard sell when theres no fans in the ground and its looks poor on tv and again makes the club look a bad investment when it comes to selling advertisement space.

All of that will hit the board where it hurts(in the pocket) and fans still have the ST to use when they want to.

There is no one thing that would make the board change, we’ve had season tickets fall to levels where a massive banner had to occupy the top of the LL stand, we’ve had a manager come in and deliver trebles and record revenues. They contrast massively but the common denominator was the board doing * all in terms of pushing the club forward.

We don’t progress and become a well run club in 2021 without the current board leaving

The only way to hit any business (and that's all it is to them) is in the pocket!

The board have a chance in the January transfer window to start doing things right. They've got to back Ange. They've got to start by forking out the money for Jota. They also need to sign a left back....a midfielder....maybe a couple of midfielders....a number 2 goalkeeper.....another striker. And basically whatever else he's needing. And it doesnt mean more loan signings....it means putting out actual big money on good players on permanent deals. If they * up in January....especially with the Jota deal then they will be in even deeper * with the fans

If we didn't boycott the games in 1994 the Kelly's and the whites would be still running Celtic and we can't just keep giving these out of touch * money and hope things change .
I am really getting * off with Desmond who continues to miss the AGM every year and should be there to face the shareholders and tell us what is the forward planning but he gives me the impression he doesn't give a * .

Boycotts aren’t needed, protests are suffice.

There’s a reason Desmond put himself in the firing line last year, and it wasn’t because he took great umbrage at the protests.

The board is filled with incompetents not qualified to be in their role. Look at Bankier’s performance the other day FFS.

I’ve heard first hand that there was ‘major’ panic amongst the suits after that Ross County game last year, when thousands turned up at the drop of a hat.

Desmond stepped forward to shield them all and take the brunt of it.

Banners and gatherings are the way. Unfortunately, I fear the time for this was when Rodgers walked.

We've just came out of our most successful domestic period arguably ever. We have a very promising manager in place now too..

Change is needed and its frustrating how slow its happening and the disconnect between the board and the fans is massive.

However, talk of large scale boycotts etc are miles off the mark.. We need unite behind the team in spite of the board and force change in other ways.

Not appointing Higgins would be a good start.

What did Bankier say about the refs when he was asked at the AGM. Can’t find it anywhere online.

The biggest fear of any institution is a United group , although the gb do a lot for the team and charities ,they are looked upon as a rogue group who need to be controlled, some fans believe this as well .
They are a louder voice and attract media attention, all things that threaten the status quo and control ,this Higgins chap knows more about our fans right down to the pjs they wear at night , so it seems to me like the club want to keep control of any dissenting voice ,stop uefa fines by control , and to a lesser extent run security .

With the result yesterday and even today we are looking good for a cup next month and the board shouldn't * this all up with Higgins being appointed and the feel good feeling out the window and would just go to prove these people on the board are not Celtic men .

The biggest threat to celtic isn't the players we sign, the manager appointed nor the money coming in or going out. Its these * arseholes at the top. I'm sure they want to sabotage every step gained with their fuckwittery. Absolute appalling appointment if true.
