Just on that last bit mate, without trying to excuse his attitude, the manager has a huge influence on the performance of the staff under them in any job. Particularly one where you have to run like * and find motivation to excel at every opportunity.

Admittedly to be on wages they are makes it a bit harder to take but ultimately it is a manager's job to get the best out his staff. Lennon takes a lot of the blame for the players downing tools imo, and then the board for not sacking him when it was clear as day he was the problem.

Crystal Palace fans can enjoy him before he decides hes too good for them and spends months skulking around playing at 50% of his capability until he gets a move. Stinking attitude glad to see him gone no matter how well he his playing now.

23 goals and 8 assists in 38 games isn’t anywhere near ‘half’ of his capabilities. It’s him playing in a team that’s soul destroying and us going back on our commitments to him that we gave

He gave us twice as long as Van Dijk, twice as long as Wanyama.

You did though. While still holding a weird grudge. Strange behaviour.

You're * right i hold a grudge against him. In one of the biggest seasons in our history where we have the chance of doing 10 in a row he decides to down tools...so yes i do hold a * grudge against the sulky man-child.

TBF the whole team bar two or three players downed tools and the biggest culprits in * it was the management and the board who refused to act when the ship was clearly sinking. I don’t blame the players because something or someone was poisoning the dressing room. Good talent went to *.

He… decided to be our top goalscorer and top goalscorer in the league.

See if… say Giakoumakis this year contributes over 30 goals in 38 games, would you be happy with that? Think we all would.

I don’t think he did, if he did he wouldn’t have that good a return. He was in a team with absolutely no tactics in it, teammates not helping, was struck down with Covid which can have a lot of lasting effects and he was still comfortably top goalscorer in the league and for us. He was nowhere near at his best but a player simply can’t have that good a return when they’ve ‘downed tools’

Of course he did, and we went back on our word on letting both him and Ajer leave but you don’t contribute over 30 goals in 38 games when you’ve ‘downed tools’ what return would you expect with him tooled up?

There was a million reasons for last season, Edouard is very far down the list for it, I shudder to think about us without him last season.

With regards to top goal scorer in the league, lets be honest chances are the top scorer will come from us or hun.Once your playing up front for either team your pretty much certain to be either !st or 2nd on the list.

Right but how many times has it been from a guy who’s actively not trying in an extremely poor team?

Michael Higdon, a fat and old Kris Boyd, Adam Rooney and Liam Boyce have all been top scorer.

You’re not just entitled to free goals and assists because you play for Celtic. You have to earn them.

I can honestly say i have no idea how the other top scorers felt when they were scoring all them goals, but i get what your saying but do you honestly think he gave us 100% all the time?Imo he downed tools and if his attitude had been better he would have scored a lot more.

And who knows the effect his attitude had on the dressing room.

Sick of hearing the term “downed tools”.

One of the worst Celtic teams, Celtic managers and atmosphere around the club in recent memory and people expect a guy to still be at his very best.

Fact is he still contributed more than most do. There’s a difference between not being at 100% and completely “downing tools”.

Attitude doesn’t score goals and imagine the impact the dressing room had on him and everyone else?
