January leavers

With rumours starting to circulate on incomings , who do we think will be going out the door if any ? Ajeti and barkas would be the main two for me

 

Bolingoli, Bitton possibly although in saying that our squads quite depleted and light in many areas, it'll all depend on recruitment coming in.

 

Hopefully we punt Ajeti if Maeda comes in.

 

Ajeti has no chance of making it here with the way we want to play, but he's not a bad finisher and will get goals in the right setup, we should be able to recoup some of what we've spent on him. I think we're just going to have to right Barkas off as a straight loss at this point, nobody in their right mind would buy him looking at his performances for us.

I wouldn't be against letting Bitton go if we bring in a quicker DM, though I do think he can still do a job and is underrated by a lot of people because of how badly utilised he's been as a makeshift CB the last few years.

 

I'd love to get rid of Ajeti, Griffiths, Taylor, Barkas, Afolabi, O'Connor, Connell and possibly Bitton.

Send Shaw and Urhoghide on loan as well.

 

I would say our best chance of getting shot of Ajeti would be if Basel lose Cabral with rumoured EPL interest in him they would have money to spend and he’s been successful for them in the past.

Boli could still go for me unless he really turns it around between now and then, but I think we need better brought in as left back is a position that we have lots of mediocre options and no standout.

Barkas must surely at least go on loan l,
Preferably permanent.

Soro could go on loan for 6 months to try find form and then perhaps take Bittons place in the squad but we will need to bring in better options at CM.

Guys like Orhoghide, Shaw, Scales (if not getting game time) should all go out on loan. Even Montgomery if we sign a new left back could go out for minutes.

 

Why is everycunt itching to punt players out the door when a few weeks ago we were struggling to get enough players to put a team together. Just get players in and we can punt the dross at the end of the season.

 

Barkas needs to be out no matter what, and if Maeda comes in, Ajeti should be gone.

If Bolingoli loses his place again I could see him leaving, alongside maybe Henderson who doesn't really have a future here.

Would be loaning out Shaw, Connell and Osaze.

 

It depends on who we can bring in.

If we can bring in a left back and a defensive mid then we can try move guys on.

But Bitton has played 10 games this season, Ajeti 12, Soro 15, Taylor and Boli 13 combined. These guys are unfortunately key players atm.

Only guy you could move on without bringing someone else in is Barkas.

 

Barkas, boli and Ajeti likely ones to bring in a fee.

Depending on development and if Ange sees them in his plans, then likes of connell, O'Conner, afolabi, etc may be moved on.

But I wouldn't expect many if any first team players to be sold, without at least bringing in replacements.

The first team squad is threadbare as it is.

Boli might be our best LB, wouldn't be getting rid of him at all.

 

That's fair unless we are able to sign someone who can clearly come in and be the main main at left back as we did with the signing of Juranovic on the right.

 

I would agree there we likely won't see much movement unless replacements are signed. Barkas can go if a buyer can be found as Bain is already there as back up and I agree with others that loan deals for Shaw and Uroghide make sense to see if they have any future at Celtic. Ajeti could be sold again if a buyer can be found but only if we are able to bring in a new striker. Same with Bolingoli at left back for me.

 

I don't think it's necessarily itching to get them out more of a getting a balance in an important phase of Anges development for the squad. Freeing up wages and moving on players that won't make it here. It also allows players to be brought in that ange wants without overbloating the squad.

 

Just itching to get rid of barkas so we never need to watch him miss a light tap in his general direction.

 

Ajeti and Barkas out at all cost's..

Could bring 3 or 4 quality replacements in for the wages both of these are on..

Must be about 30 odd grand..

 

We need a bigger squad even if many won't be good enough to start.

Ajeti can do a job. We need to be signing more than one forward before selling him.

 

Can he do a job though, for this team?

I don't think he can..

I'd ship him out before he's completely damaged goods on the continent..

That would leave us fine there for me. Have other's that can fill in there with the way we play..

 

Sorry m8, Ajeti has been given more than enough chances to prove himself and failed miserably. Both him and Barkas should be shown the door.

 

Ajeti will be player somewhere but it’s no here he doesn’t suit our style, with maeda coming in we have 3 strikers that the manager wants and 3 that compliment each other well
