Aye swimming isn't for everyone. Just need to stay out the deep end and stick to the puddles.

If you had bothered to Google the terms I mentioned you would find links to academic studies on the topic of ethnic minorities being more prone to believing conspiracy theories.

Obviously they’re not going to have academic studies on who anti-vax groups target, but it’s hardly a stretch to imagine them targeting ethnic minority groups given they’re more susceptible to believing the misinformation they’re trying to push.

Sturgeon has also been pretty clear that this is just to encourage (coerce) people into taking it.

Not sure why folk keep spinning this as a move to curb transmission.

They also claim it’s the same in many European countries; Scotland is the only country in Europe to not accept a negative test as an alternative.

Yes, hence why passports are discriminatory.

Scotland is also far less strict on this than France, I can assure you.

If you want to come into a bar, cafe or restaurant here, you’re showing a vaccine passport. No exceptions made.

Would actually be interesting seeing the people comparing our current situation to * Germany have to deal with that :giggle1:

Im quite content to not make public health recommendations based on conspiracy theories, regardless of who they’re held by in all honesty.

So you want revenge on the people that didn't do what they were told because you think it's their fault you were locked down and made to follow ridiculous rules .not the policy makers ,it's refreshing to see some honesty at least
The only thing I have left to ask is what makes you think it will be temporary

Vaccination cuts transmission. That is a fact. It doesn't eliminate it but it does cut it. Added to that it largely prevents hospitalisation. So two clear and massive benefits. The anti vaxxers are the main group crying about other illnesses not being properly treated due to covid and the hypocrites then refuse the main thing that can help prevent the system being overwhelmed. Tubes.

    Case rates suggest otherwise.

No they don't. Stats just out of America show that the unvaccinated are 6 times more likely to test positive for covid and over 11 times more likely to die.

Cases are as high as they’ve ever been. It can’t be argued with.

Cases being this high yet no deaths kind of shows you it works you utter *.

    90 million jags.

1700 deaths that may or may not be linked.

Any anti jag bullshit you come out with is that. Bullshit. I'm glad they'll lock idiots like you out of places. You deserve it.

Cases are higher now than they've ever been because everything is open once again. Thankfully hospitalisation and deaths are considerably lower now than they were when the number of positives cases were at their worst. The cause of the reduction is down to one thing only - vaccination.

The vast majority of people in hospital with covid now are non vaccinated.

I just wish those with such strong anti vax sentiment would have the courage of their convictions and if they get ill with it, stay away from the hospitals.

    Again, we’ve been over this.

Healthy young people were highly unlikely to die of Covid pre-vaccine, so vaccinating them has no bearing on the death rates.

seriously man shouldnt everyone be crying about other illnesses not given the attention they deserve.the nhs is overwhelmed every year for the last 20 odd years, compounded last year by them reducing capacity due to covid measures instead of using any of the nightingale hospitals. dont act shocked when they are overwhelmed again this year because its 100% gonna happen

Unlikely to die but not impossible. The more young people who get it will unfortunately increase the numbers because of that very small percentage who will be the unlucky one whose immune system doesn't cope well enough.

My 11 year old got pretty sick with it and she's as healthy as a horse.

Why does it always come down to Vaccinators vs Anti Vaccinators.

Im double jabbed as many others i know and all are still not attending concerts/nightclubs or games (by choice) We totally disagree with the way they are now enforcing this.

Its a fkin disgrace the way near all governments are dealing with this situation, and throwing out numbers like if there are 500 of you in a seated event to a non event to 499 of you allowed makes no sense at all, there is no science behind this. A pub with 499 people in it can easily transmit covid in the same way as 500 plus,if people have it.

There are not encouraging anyone now, they are enforcing it and here lies the issue.

I did what they asked in getting vaccinated but i will not fall to my knees and have QR codes/papers or * tattoos to go into Asda next...at what point do you say NO? How far are they willing to push this and how far are you willing to accept it? Because they asked us to get jabs and an overwhelming majority of us have....But to force us to show papers/codes are every door you walk into is not on.

Or do we all just become Government Bootlickers until we get our freedom back.

Yeah. That 2 seconds to show a QR code is a killer.
