Finally got round to getting myself a record player !! Due to having limited space and without the need for running speaker cable, I decided to go with the Rega Planer 1 Plus which has a built in pre amp. This allows me to connect straight into the back of a Sonos Five. I can then link that to the rest of the speakers throughout the flat. Loving chilling with a few beers listening to records EAA9867B-BEDE-4E96-B63C-BB51D5A50BA8.jpg

I have used them a few times. I like when LPs that I got when they came out many years ago and how much the price has inflated.

I also use a Play 5 and that Noel compilation is * good, got it on vinyl when it came out....also discogs is a good place to buy and there is a mobile app....I scan all my album barcodes into it so I can get a rough idea of my collection value

You could start with second hand records. Bought a lot of great cheap second hand albums of ebay, discogs and thrift stores over the years.

Very true, my worry would be buying stuff that's scratched.
