I really don't wish ill will on anyone that leaves Celtic. Partly because any success reflects well on us and will attract a higher calibre of player. The sell on bonuses so rarely work out in our favour, so I'm not really fussed about that.

But I think you're right. Not to take away anything from Eddy's debut, but he was playing against 10 men looking for a goal. He got way more time and space than he would normally be afforded. I'd actually say he's more likely to get goals against the better, attacking teams than any defensive ones.

Good luck to him, but I'm far from convinced.

Good atmosphere from the home support. Rare in the U.K.

This * has shown more passion in the last 10 minutes than in a whole year at Celtic

Haven't seen the game, but caught a little bit of his play down South. Anyone here still defending him needs a slap in the face. I don't give a * about his stats or how many he scored in our terrible last season. He clearly couldn't give a * about playing for us for 15 months or more. Detestable wee *.

Crystal Palace striker Odsonne Edouard has reminisced on his wildly successful Celtic stint for the first time since leaving Parkhead.

The Frenchman enjoyed a trophy-laden spell at Celtic Park before brining the curtain down on his Scottish Premiership spell in the summer.

He has hit the ground running under Patrick Vieira and has made the starting striker spot his own at Selhurst Park

However, the 23-year-old hasn't been quick to shrug off his memories of Glasgow's east end, including his seven goals against rivals Rangers during his four-year stint.

Appearing on UUM, Edouard hailed the derby day atmosphere created by fans, stating: "It's incredible, an atmosphere like this

When we played Rangers at Celtic Park, with the Celtic fans it's crazy."

When asked about the feeling of scoring against Steven Gerrard's men, he said: "I can't explain, you have to live this to understand what I feel.

The atmosphere when you score during this game is amazing.

He also stated the his Scottish Cup Final double in 2019, to seal the Treble Treble, is the highligh of his career so far.

Edouard continued: "It's the best feeling, the best, because when you are a player you play to win titles, and score in games like this, and after you win the title, it's unbelievable.

He also had a message for the Parkhead supporters, adding: "I stayed four years there. I have some good memories, some good titles, so always (be grateful for them)."

He gave us twice as long as Dembele, Van Dijk or Wanyama. He deserves more respect than he gets and that will come in time

    Fair point.

If it was that good for him he wouldn't have * off to Crystal Palace tho.

Would you rather he stayed here uninterested then he went there for nothing? He clearly didn’t wanty be here at the end but we got a couple of good seasons out him at least.

Amazing how much he gave up while he was with us, a real shame.

His body language since joining Palace compared to the last year with us is like night and day.
I give it a year until he gives up on Palace as he wants another move.
