Going to do 10-15 of these tonight, because even though wasn't intending to, thinking about football anymore is just annoying the * out of me right now. :47:

This is what you get when you mix The Mob and neo-noir storytelling with high octane Ford Mustangs.

"50% of somethin'is better than 100% of nothin' " E-eyo Eleven... E-eyo-eleven... IMO, vastly superior to the George Clooney & Brad Pitt remake, more quoteable and with an infinately better conclusion.

    "They call me Mister Tibbs!"

Great acting, premise and a good chunk of mystery when a black detective from Philadelphia takes a trip down south and ends up gets more than he bargained for, not only with racist cops, but a brutal murder investigation.

"You're trying to seduce me, Mrs Robinson"

Hella quoteable script and a soundtrack by Simon and Garfunkel that still grooves!

What a film . Love Ray Harryhausen. So much so, my family and I are going through to Edinburgh tomorrow to see the Ray Harryhausen collection in the National Gallery. Really looking forward to it.

I went to the exhibition last year - it was really good, got some great pics. What was slightly weird though was looking at all those models that you had seen "acting" on screen and being up close with them. Note that the giant gorilla model is actually Mighty Joe Young and not King Kong.

'Remember the Alamo' they say. The movie has helped ensure that the legends of Davy Crockett and Jim Bowie won't be forgotten.
