Indeed lol, we are experimenting, meanwhile the huns are sauntering to another title and the CL revenue.

Anything less than 3 points away tae the sheep and the League will be all but over, and it's only the start of October.

He just needs time, a few transfer windows, we need players back, he'll turn it around etc etc .....

True, but it’s just about October. We need to give the guy a chance.

I'm all for giving the guy a chance but we've played 7 games and dropped 11 points already, things need to change very quickly.

    Serious, that is the hope.
Realistic that it will never happen, as you say while they are still making money off us.

Hence, we need to stop the hot air talk online and in the pubs and actually have a backbone and refuse to fund these *

We all knew this time last season Lennon shouldn’t have been here. Yet he almost lasted the season.
I’m fed up of giving people chances when it’s clearly not working. We put ourselves out of a title race, Europe and cups because we have some sense of doing right by managers. How about the manager does right by the fans and puts up a * challenge for the title in a two horse race?
We have slowly accepted mediocrity over the last 20 years and if it wasn’t for Rodgers we’d no doubt have forgotten just how good we could be.

Give him a chance ffs, the thought of a caretaker like WGS is so unappetising its not true..

The job is huge and so is the rebuild, its going to take time..

The board need to do their bit though by putting the correct infrastructure in place to support the man..

We're painfully slow in making those much needed appointments.

The January window will be pointless if we don't have a head of Recruitment in place, never mind a DoF..

Extremely harsh and knee-*, he absolutely deserves much more of chance, getting rid now would be really unfair..

The last few games have been a chore but he also played some scintillating stuff too, it's night and day from last season..

A football genius has this Celtic squad winning more than 3 games out of 7 in the league.

Now this isn't aimed at you mate, just a general observation , but the thing is. We keep getting told, be patient, that his jobs always take the same trajectory, and this one will too. Starts poorly, everyone against him, turns it around in the end and we all live happily ever after. I expect there's a montage in there somewhere, accompanied by some banging 80s tune.
But express fears that this season is already playing out like the previous and you get told (by certain parties, not everyone) that's crazy talk, not every season pans out the same and the huns will drop more points this time around. I'm sure there's an irony, or something, in there somewhere.

You’ve got to be taking the * with this.
Hope he turns out to be a good manager for us but, from what I’ve seen so far, football genius he ain’t.
Statements like this could come back to haunt you mate.

    It's a ridiculous statement.

The word genius should be reserved for guys like Guardiola, Ferguson, even Klopp. Not Postecoglou.

I don't mean this to come off sounding * but this is why I take the opinions of the Aussies with a pinch of salt you're backing your man and fair doos for sticking to it. The reality is he has managed in Australia, Japan, Greece and now Scotland he has never stayed at any club of note for more than 3 years many probably class him as a journeyman and why should he be given 18 months to rebuild us if we see no progress along the way. He evidently is not a football genius he may very well have been a good manager elsewhere but he's not a football genius. Ange got the coup in this scenario not Celtic

    Your point being?

His system does take time and he needs support. If he doesn't get both then his system probably won't work.

The appointment of Ange was a visionary thing (by someone - I choose to believe it was Dom) but it must be given all that vision takes.

Well it's worked every time so far with * all resources.

I expect it to work again unless the support (such as it is) is taken away.

I could be wrong (obviously) but that will be some strange aspect of Celtic taking effect - not Ange's lack of ability.

He has moved to a higher level at each move. We know this is "career progression".

Honestly, the club is in such a mess, I think he would be better off walking.

Yes in a nutshell. We still have the 2nd best squad in the league even with the injuries. Can we also bin this notion that because we miss chances it means we should be awarded a moral victory.

    His C team?

4 of the back 5 were his signings. 2 of the front 3 were his signings. McCarthy was his signing. That 7 of the starting XI.

Rogic and Turnbull have played pretty much every game this season and have probably been two of the first names on the teamsheet for him. So there's 9.

    C team ffs:giggle1:
