He can play Moffat, if he had sent him to warm up. He has nothing to lose by doing that.

He needs to sort it out, quickly. If no, he's in trouble and that goodwill he's had will be long gone..

Regardless of lack of squad depth and debatable tactics one trait that concerns me about Ange is that normally a quality manger will at least bring the best out in players. We've seen it before with Rodgers, O'Neill etc. they often make average players look good and good players look excellent. However there are many players who are playing well within themselves and not playing anywhere near their best, the likes of Turnbull and Rogic springs to mind. Worrying times.

Why are we so narrow when the ball is played out wide even when we haven’t had it for a while so it’s not the inverted full backs being out of position. Opposition have so much time to cross and our full backs are in our box and have to ran out the wings to close them down? Whereas our wingers our doubles up on as soon as they receive.

I'll say it again this has WGS to the end of the season written all over it and when WGS wins the Scottish Cup he will be appointed might not be in the showers this time but the statement will read that he has a wealth of knowledge and experience he will also keep on his boy and droopy as backroom staff. Celtic board all over they need to leave before ange does or the fans will need to put up with this sort of * year in year out, Rangers should have been 20 years or more behind us the board didn't just fall asleep at the wheel they went into a coma.

He could have tried. Moffat should have been brought on. Tweak the formation. Anything is better than doing nothing.

Bar the WGS part, I was thinking this today with the Barnes formation that he came out with when he was here.

His comments after the game concerned me. He doesn't get it. In Japan and Australia you might get away with implementing a system and style foregoing results for longer term goals but at Celtic you had better win. End of. Now the Europa league and League Cup semi final are bonuses but the league is everything. He has to sort this out quickly and understand what it is to be Celtic manager. Every loss is a crisis.

Tbh it’s a game against Dundee Utd, if you need to rely on the bench to change the game then we’ve already * up.

Not really sure what to make of the situation tbh, i feel he has been adequately backed in the sense we have brought in:
    2 Strikers
    1x RW
    1x LW
    1x CDM
    1x RB
    2x CB
    1x GK
Thats not including the boys from Sheffield, you could argue the signings have came too late, he should have brought his own backroom team and shouldn't have extended Griffiths contract.

I like him and his style of play when working is exciting but ultimately he isn’t getting results against poor teams

WGS was in when Lawwell had not yet fully strangled the club. WGS had high-profile signings like Gravesen, JVoH and Hinkel to select from. He created a fairly basic system that worked, until the board shafted him that one January.
Now, the board have stripped the club of non-playing staff. Mourinho would fail here, nevermind WGS.

Has anyone noticed, does he ever seem to be in communication with the players?

I know not every coach is 100% vocal but does he ever try and coach them through a game?

    * I hope you're wrong but if things go * up then you could well be right. It would be right up Desmond's street, Strachan is clearly one of his favourites.

His lack of action is roll on from Livi and Betis. Nothing changed even though weren't penetrative enough vs Livi, strange subs as well after about 75mins.

Betis, lack of action at 2-0 up. From there you consolidate and make sure you don't concede till half time. Regroup at HT and we certainly don't lose that game.

It's great to have a game plan, one that's attacking and entertaining. But you have to add relism and pragmatism to the approach as well. Players need to adapt and time to do that for sure, but so does Ange. Horses for course. He needs to see that. He needs to open his mind up a bit.

A couple of his own guys in as well is a must. Fresh eyes and perspective. No Abbot & Costello on the bench there. They've regressed in to the shadows further than last year. Useless diddies.

The squad and signing you can debate. It's a squad that's smaller and weaker, but if players want to leave and run down their deals, then your hand is forced.

All true but you know what our board are like, that would satisfy them that much that the bubbly is on ice as we speak

Wonder what next years operational highlight will be? Finishing in the top 6?

i think im done with ange ,kyogo's good play has been masking the fact we havent improved that much. a slight improvment on how abysmal we were last season aint good enough .too easy to score against and not clinical enough in attack.
