Being honest strangely I agree with nearly all the posts above even though some contradict each other.

I know what Ajer is saying home games against lower level teams don’t probably bring him on much. However put him up against someone with physical presence and he struggles and either dives in or has a tendency to grab them to try and get in like the penalty he lost against Rennes.

As folk have said Aerially he is rotten given he is 6’5 or so. He is excellent at bringing the ball out and a fantastic athlete but still has a lot of development to do if he is to be a top signing. When his agent first started making noises during the 19/20 season for an 8 figure fee I felt he was a weak link in that team.

Overall he came in for next to nothing and we could end up with £17.5m for him so not bad for all parties in that sense.

A big shitebag who can't defend, what has he said? Glad we are rid of him and Christie.

Last season was the biggest challenge of his career so far…

    … and couldn’t cope.

    You’d think he’d gone to Barca…

    … not Brentford

It's not just the money they leave for though. They get fed up playing the likes of Ross County 4 times a year. They get to test themselves against Man City, Chelsea etc

Role reversal time, he will then be playing in a ross county equivalent against the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool ect

Disagree. He's one of the few who did cope.

    He was.

Fitting that he scored the penalty which won the Quadruple Treble.

He was decent bringing the ball out of defence and had pace but he has a long way to go before he can make statements about not being challenged in the SPFL. How many times was he beaten in the air? He has potential but he wasn't some godlike defender that he thinks he was! Embarrassing making those arrogant comments.

Loved his passion and marauding runs out of defence but I never rated him as a defender. Surprised he claims he wasn't challenged bcos he certainly made a meal of many games up here.

No surprise that. People have spent the last couple of months bitterly trying to convince themselves that he’s no good cos he’s gone now. * a pler.

If he was good in the air he’d be one of the best in world football haha. Guy’s top class.
