Soro has to be taken off. He won't last much longer.

Can see us getting pumped this half. The lead was our chance and with weather and fatigue, we will quickly fall out of this game and with no subs to make an impact.

think this might be a tough watch

This kind of feels like Milan away last season.

2 nil up, playing away in Europe, and what are we trying to do ?
    get a third.
getting the 3 points are more important than getting 3 goals
we need to learn how to hold the ball and let the opposition chase the ball not go gung * ho looking for more glory.

Great start but our dodgy defence was always gonna be exposed at this level.

He needs to make at least one sub here or he's lost the plot

We really need to address the problem with us crumbling after taken a lead against teams in Europe

Mental first half. To play as well as we were, especially considering the players we’re missing, only to completely * it up in the space of a few minutes. It’s so frustrating, because there were a lot of positives to take from our performance:

    • Ajeti seems to be playing with a bit of confidence. He has his weaknesses, but you can tell he’s genuinely trying to make things happen.

    • Jota has been a constant threat.

    • Carter-Vickers has been solid.

    • Rogic & Turnbull have been involved with some great bits of play.

    • Juranovic has been great.

Our options off the bench aren’t great, but I’d be subbing McCarthy (or Shaw if McCarthy can’t do the full 45) for Soro. I like Soro, but he’s a red card waiting to happen and he’s obviously hesitating on some challenges. It’d be good to see Scales get a run out at some point as well.

We can take something from this match, as the first 30 minutes showed, we’ve just got to get our heads down and regroup.

Mate Soro isn’t a good player. He is constantly out of position, diving into tackles because he finds himself wrong side a lot and generally just a bit of a headless chicken.

There is no way we can afford to play him more to iron out his many deficiencies.

Not to be a negative *, but I concur with the above. Still, a very entertaining game. Quite a strange game, actually; both sides so smooth, slick and confident going forward, but a bit suspect at the back. I would bite your hand off for a draw, notwithstanding taking a two-goal lead.

When is the last time we actually had a defence we could rely on? Ironically with us playing in Seville, I would say it was the days of Martin O'Neil. Johan, Joos, Bobo, three centre halves that no striker would fancy playing against. Yes we did concede 3 goals that night in Seville but it was the the UEFA Cup final and we were playing the team that went on to win the European Cup the following season so they can be cut some slack. Even Big Rab was nowhere near as bad as some would say, just look at his performance against Liverpool at Anfield when we beat them 2-0. Anyway I digress......

Why does Hart always just stand like he's stuck to the ground when someones through on goal. It does nothing. He's done that three times in three different games. Its mind boggling.

For balance, have to also say he made a cracking save from a header too.

    Telfer Caldwell McManus Naylor

    Or Mark Wilson for Telfer.

With a world class keeper in goal admittedly.

Why do none of our managers make subs at half time when its clear something isnt working? Rodgers, Lennon and now Ange.

If Soro gets sent off here, and he probably will, it's on Ange.
