it was very clear a number of the players were fatigued, were really gonna need to use the full squad and a lot of rotation this season i think, since the season started its been none stop game every few days, cant be playing the guts out of players like mcgregor and hope to get away with it regarding results and injuries, i dont think 2 players for every position will be enough i think its a certainty players will have to be adaptable to other positions

3-0 was a great result coming back after the internationals, and big harts save was excellent and came at a crucial time between our first and 2nd goal, we might have struggled had they scored then

 

I honestly think we are going to have to stay clear of injuries and a lot things are going to have to 'click' in this team if we are to have a successful season. If Ange does guide us to the Title he will have shown what a top class manager he really is.

Sick notes like McCarthy, Forrest and Julien are really going to have to get back in the team and make a significant contribution. We are still lacking in certain departments and we are going to need EVERY quality player we have if we're going to win the league this season.

 

I like Monty a lot, moves about the field with justified confidence. Has the makings of a class player. He will take this spot for the time being and share it with Scales. I like Taylor also but he has got a complicated issue with his shoulder and this will effect his abilty to play for the time being.

Agree.What is obvious is that we do not have any playmakers apart from Callum M and Rogic when he has a good game and can play a full 90 minutes.

If Callum and Rogic are not in the team for any reason then we are rudderless.
We need more players that can take a game by the scruff of the neck and dictate play on the park.

Agreed. Was surprised when I saw he was going off for the same injury he picked up over in Alkmaar. Montgomery has IMHO easily shown he was well capable of starting the game.
