Seen one or two people posting pictures on social media with Kyogo in a restaurant. The pictures were taken earlier today, so I guess not.

Hopefully not true. This when we see if our transfer window was truly good.

    Was always a worry.

Already relying on him heavily so early on in his time here and he's played a lot of football this year.

Again, highlights the importance of having a big squad with quality depth.

Why would the sun have this info before the club releases it? Unless we have a mole.

Given some of the away games coming up it's dreadful news.

We haven't won on that horror pitch v Livingston since they were promoted in 2018. We really struggle there as it's so difficult to find space. I felt Kyogo's movement would have given us a great chance of opening them up. I can't see Giakoumakis doing that. He looks fairly limited on and off the ball from the clips I've seen of him.

To be fair, surely a big target man we can use to bypass the midfield is exactly what we need on that Livi pitch? Certainly served them well.

Still a blow if this is true though.

I think the way he plays i.e. always trying to hard to win the ball back all the time, will always result in him being an injury worry.

CELTIC fear Kyogo Furuhashi will be out of action for at least a month.

SunSport understands the Japanese striker’s knee injury won’t sideline him long-term.

But Kyogo, 26, could miss SEVEN games as the Hoops enter a packed schedule of big matches.

Sources in his homeland expect him to miss Japan’s next two international fixtures in four weeks’ time.

That means Celtic could be without Kyogo for seven crucial domestic and European games before that break.

His absence would be a huge blow for Ange Postecoglou after a stunning start to his Parkhead career.

The £4.6million signing from Vissel Kobe has seven goals in his first nine games and is already a fans’ favourite.

But Postecoglou will be relieved Kyogo’s injury is not as bad as first feared when he went down unchallenged in a clash with China on Tuesday.

Celtic have Premiership games against Ross County, Livingston, Dundee United and Aberdeen before the October international break.

They also have two tough Europa League group ties with Real Betis and Bayer Leverkusen, and take on Raith Rovers in the Premier Sports Cup quarter-final.

Japan have vital World Cup qualifiers with Saudi Arabia and Australia on October 7 and 12.

But boss Hajime Moriyasu is planning a squad without Kyogo.

His injury is likely to see new Celtic striker Giorgios Giakoumakis propelled into first-team action.

The Greece cap joined last week from VVV-Venlo for £2.5million, but hasn’t played a competitive game since May.

Giakoumakis is likely to be pressed into action, however, and could be in the squad for the clash with County.

Albian Ajeti is the only other senior striker on Celtic’s books after Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths both left on deadline day.

Winger Liel Abada can play centrally, but Postecoglou is now short of options and will want Kyogo back as quickly as possible.
