I love the transformation Ralston has made under Ange, but it amounts to less than a dozen games in his natural position.

Most of his success has come through utilising his physical attributes, which are maximised out wide. He can use his pace out wide when 1v1, use it to recover if the ball is played in behind, you’re playing this the entire game immediately in front of you, with the vast majority o options available favouring your strong foot.

The CDM for us is basically the lynchpin of our play. You’re expected to be able to find space in crowded midfields, receive the ball under pressure, advance the ball and beat a man, pass well with either foot, be creative enough to open up defences while at the same time protecting the back 4.

It’s all wrong for Ralston imo, and I say that as someone who doesn’t want to see him dropped from RB

I want him dropped. He's been playing well enough but nowhere near good enough

Are you 2 telling me. You want Tony Ralson as our first choice right back?

I want him to maintain his spot as long as he maintain his current form at least.

For me, the LB position is currently the weakest and I would rather see a back 4 with Ralston and Juranovic than Taylor and Juranovic.

Juranovic will start in his favoured RB spot more often then not, he's not a LB option for me... Don't think he used his left foot once at Ibrox, which is totally at odds with the way Ange wants to play the game.

Juranovic is a next level signing, hopefully..

Like I said earlier Ralston does gives us a solid option too, but Juranovic will start most games.

Happy with him as back up. Not getting on the boys case but he is not and should not be first choice in that position.

We play a very heavy load of games over the course of a season so we need 2 right backs. Ralston's emergence this season is great and he has shown he deserves a new contract beyond the one year deal he signed this summer. But only as the back up. For me as well as he has played I still do not see him as being at the level we need to be the every day starter at right back. Time will tell if Juranovic is that player but I would think he was signed with that expectation in mind.

AR, along with Welsh, have been our 2 best defenders this season so far. I see no need to drop either right now. AR should be well rested after international break too. New RB is just in the door, back from international duty, no need to rush him.

You are getting on his case and until he deserves to lose his place then he should stay in the side. Same for every player.

Keep playing him at right back, Joranivic can
play at left back and do fine. Sorry Brian you're talkin mince.

Ange will decide, and I'm happy he'll choose wisely. Pretty sure that he'll be displaced by Juranovic over time, but it's certainly his spot to lose at the moment

Thought he looked miles off it but still gave absolutely everything.

Could see he was well * long before the end but ran himself into the ground.

He was very clearly not fit, like an insane amount. Literally just determination that seen him through to the end.
