He's looked like he has taken a knock or two in almost every game. Needs to know what challenges to make sometimes. I think he gets away with playing his style in J-League, but in Europe and especially SPL, he is going to get crocked. It is a worry.

ANDRES Iniesta has lavished praise on his former team-mate Kyogo Furuhashi and described Celtic as the "ideal club" for him to continue his development.

Kyogo has scored seven times in as many starts for his new club and will hope to continue that goalscoring form in tomorrow's Premiership derby against Rangers at Ibrox - assuming he can shake off a knock sustained against AZ Alkmaar on Thursday night.

Iniesta told The Times that he wasn't surprised by the start his pal had made to life in Scotland as he reckons he is in the perfect place to keep improving as a footballer.

Raül Llimós of Furuhashi's management company Sports & Life said his client hadn't taken the incident to heart.

Two men, aged 30 and 26, have been arrested and charged in connection with the video.

Llimós said: "He's only focused on football and knows it's only a minority who don't represent anything about Scotland or Rangers supporters.


He doesn't want to make it bigger, only play football and return the faith that Celtic have shown in him through goals and good performances.

"This is his first Old Firm and he knows it's a very, very special match for Celtic supporters and the club. He wants to do well, but not because of what happened with the video."
