his record for the season is fantastic but it could be a flash in the pan whilst

where were actually needing at least one good central defender and 2 good full backs we seem to be getting linked to loads and under bidding and getting no * where

i think some * at celtic is playing with smoke and mirrors

The way Ange has got our players performing this early in the season, I trust his judgement if he has identified this guy himself.

Get him signed.

 

Tremendous record last season but his overall record and lack of games are concerning for someone turning 27.

Honestly, see this trepidation over a players stats from years ago ffs. I will judge him in a Celtic Jersey. If Ange thinks hes good enough, that's good enough for me. His first goal was literally a bicycle kick. Thats plenty. Get um in the door.

 

That makes we think we're not signing any more CB-s.

Especially when he's been relegated, I can see why he'd now think he's above that..

That second video you posted, near the end it showed some of the qualities Ange wants, pressing and tracking down quite a bit..

I think this guy has something to offer us..

 

Playing style- offensive. He wants players that participate heavily in attacks.

 

Some of his finishing shows that he does have something about him. They aren't all those kinda diddy type Boyd finishes in the box, although he doss show penalty box predatory instincts. A good few were cultured also..

Think it was in the Henry thread I said that we don't necessarily need a guy to hit the kinda number's this guy got last year. Would be nice but if he presses well and is a good foil for Abada, Furuhashi etc then we'll get goals from everywhere. Already seen it from almost all over already with Ralston and Welsh getting on the score sheet..

 

I'm all in when it comes to Ange, if he wants Sean St ledger then we better sign the *. Give him whoever he needs

 

Yeah, he looks a bit cumbersome for my liking. Of his 26 goals, 8 were penalties. So from 30 appearances he has 18 goals from open play and 1 assist. Some of the defending looked horrendous in the first YT video in the thread as well.

All for it as a 3rd striker maybe, but we should be aiming for something better. Board will see this as marquee. Lots of letters in his surname for the strips too. Must be raging Furahashi prefers Kyogo.

We’ll probably end up signing 3/4 players we’ve not even been linked with and I think Ange knows it… especially when the reporter tried to trick him when he asked if the”3” players would be in the door & he replied saying he didn’t give a number although he said a ‘few’. The Greek lad is another 26 year old… Ange seems to like that age

 

I'd say worth a punt, his prior record is what keeps the price low and I imagine wages won't be high. If Ange likes the look then why not, we complained when managers weren't getting a say over the transfers.

 

I’ve got to be honest and say that, for me, Thomas Henry looks a far better player from YouTube videos alone. He’d be my preference.

That said, finishing as top scorer in a decent league while your team is relegated is nothing to be sniffed at. If he’s been requested by Ange then go for it.
