As stated scoreline flatters them somewhat, it's clear that our defence is the priority in this rebuild now.

 

Worried what a quality team will do to that defence. Alkmaar later in the week....

 

We were running on empty for a while there second half. Said it after Thursday, Starfelt gives me the fear. First half we were sensational.. I’m confident for Wednesday. Bring on the Dutch *.

 

What did we learn? We still need a good few defenders...

Definitely thought at half time it was going exact same way as the Dundee game, still a lot of work to be done defensively and upfront,

 

It’s glaringly obvious what we need.

Unfortunately those who are in control of what we need want their dividends, so don’t expect much.

 

Hart should have saved that one. Ange, rip the board a new one and sign the players you need. Negotiate, and then sign whomever you want, as the board are useless.

We definitely need more options in defence not that they were bad today just looked tired at the end. Maybe need to have strength to rotate our defence

Starfelt looks dodgy as * to me

Ralston top notch again..

Kyogo better through the middle..

First half very impressed and dropped off second half...Job done..

 

Youd think we'd lost

 

Scoreline doesnt reflect our dominance and how we played for the majority of the game, if you didnt watch it you would think it was close. That is concerning. The first goal was a penalty but it was the lead up to the penalty, a long ball over the top and not dealt with, Starfelt needing 2 attempts at it. Second was a deflection but it was the marking again in the box. Sexy as * going forward but defending is a complete turn off !!.

 

There’s nothing jammy about it, people are being starry eyed over the attacking side of our game. But that defence is * abysmal.

 

Those 2 goals have soured the performance. Still very suspect at the back. Also need to be more clinical.

Ffs.

 

Celtic could have scored 10. How many did Gordon save seemed like lots.

 

Piled the pressure on in parts, just couldn't finish.
I felt like they were off just a little bit the entire match, so many passes hitting targets but always seeming to be off that little bit where the receiver would have to check their run or stop.
Ange won't be happy with parts but it's still a massive work in progress and we've not really seen them set up like this yet this season.
Definitely think Taylor is the biggest issue, he was getting done every time in the 2nd half, they attacked him so much and then that put pressure on starfelt. I think starfelt will come good but will only come with better support on that side.
